There are 16 players on the 2022 HS Butkus Award Semifinal list…….and guess what? That’s right, all 4 of ND’s 2022 LB commits made the cut……now that’s pretty amazing and reason for excitement!

Mirer only had a non-committable offer from MI. He plays on a very good team that RTDB. He only had 1700+ yds in 14 games at @ 55%.
Seems like an obvious replacement for Jack Lausch.

The Georgia commits without more info seem like long shots unless it was Georgia who did not let them sign during early signing period and is kind of processing them out of the class.

I saw that Dillon Bell didn't sign and was going to ask about him on the 247 board but forgot. Private school, was once considered a Michigan lean. With options as limited as they are that seemed like more than enough to kick the tires.

Absolutely. Curry at 6'2" 240 is a understandable reason why we didnt push hard. But Hinish might be 6' 250 for all we know.

Yeah I am assuming these two had near identical measurables. Seeing Curry's just makes me even more curious on Donovan's.

Just noticed something interesting about the 21 ND signees from this 2022 class. They came from 17 different states. Only California, Michigan, Indiana and New Jersey had more than 1 signee...and they all only had 2 each. Can't ever remember seeing such a diverse group...geographically speaking. I'd be surprised if there was another school with such a nation-wide group of incoming freshmen!
