Admittedly, I haven't read up on this at all. Will later but just saw the headline at ISD. I wonder if this is playing a role.

so the end of medical retirements possible? More beneficial to get rid of players than allow them to retire seems strange to me

Current ND LAX commit Jackson Carver of Culver Military visited for the game today.

I'll let Lax take it from here.

Would be insane. Per Loy, Rees has been talking to him for months. This is how they should recruit the QB position. Take 2 and let them compete. LFG!.

With it seemingly likely that Walker de-commits and Everhart stays in Texas. The WR board needs a massive makeover. We have 2 exceptional talents but probably need at least 2 more. Last week Loy put together an article with names of WR's to keep an eye on. It's a premium article that has details about each prospects but I'll just post the names.

Latest on Notre Dame WR Recruiting with the Class of 2022 (247sports.com)

Kaydin Pope, Xayvion Bradshaw, Kaleb Webb, Nicholas Anderson, Jarel Williams, and Wesley Grimes.

It should be noted that Everhart was also on the list but that's looking less likely.

Hopefully Bradshaw is actually on the table this time. Think he would be a great addition to this class. Different skillset .

Possible OL target?

https://247sports.com/college/notre-...920261/?page=1

Jeff Quinn stopping by school of 3 star OT, Johnny Garrett.

I don’t care so much about the 3 star rating for him. I am more worried about the lack of offers. And this is why we struggle at times we settle for players like this.

I am not saying that he can’t be a top o-lineman, I am not saying that he is a bad player, but I am saying the other talent evaluators see something and aren’t offering him.

To be fair, we haven’t yet either. If Quinn is to be trusted as OL coach going forward, getting eyeballs on these guys is step 1.

Singer's Lucky Charms last night is loaded with coaches visit details.

Recruiting - Lucky Charms: Intel on Notre Dame offensive coaches on the road | BlueandGold.com (rivals.com)

A couple that stand out. Polian is in Utah to check in on Carson Tabaracci who will be visiting for the USC game. And, 2022 OL Tyler Knaak. Knaak is listed at 6-7 300lbs. Knaak is the 2nd OL that doesn't have an offer that will be getting a visit.

Also, McNulty will be in Pennsylvania. While there he'll stop at the school of Nicholas Singleton.

It’s curious to see an OL from Salt Lake City without offers from BYU or Utah.

Singer's Lucky Charms from last night focuses on the defensive coaches school/game visits.

I've mentioned his name a few times but I think Ta'Mere Robinson recruitment continues to fly under the radar a little. A lot of the network attention goes to Styles and Bowen, rightfully so, but Freeman will be out to watch his game on Thursday night. He'll catch Bowen's game on Friday night.

Talk about an all-name team contestant (Ta'Mere Robinson) with the game to match.

I'm sure I'm late to the party on this but just in case you're wondering go ahead and pop his first name into Google and translate it... awesome.

I got a sneaky feeling too. That's a to be Junior below. OG Tom Lemming just re-dropped his mini interview with Robinson a few days ago. Lemming is good at tweeting/retweeting them when ND movement is happening.

Did you guys catch Jimmy Rolder this week? He's been an Illini baseball commit for years but half of the B1G offered in the past week or so and OSU offered tonight. He's an Illini legacy too. Marist is about as ND friendly as they come but all the variables say nothing to see here... until Junior visits somewhere else that is and Jimmy's in South Bend the following Saturday.

Overall, I think this class is pretty damn complete and potentially already the best of the Kelly era. A few pieces that would be nice to add down the stretch:

Interior OL - Schrauth should fill this
Edge Rusher - Gobaira is nice but we basically didnt take one last year considering Onye has already outgrown the position. Really wish we took Wesolak.
Game Breaking WR - Tobias and CJ are great but the best offenses in CFB all have WRs that can stretch the field

Would be nice to get a top 100 safety and QB too as the future is so uncertain there but what are you gonna do.

Eh Wesolak is currently suspended pending assault and harassment charges. He probably joins Drinkwitz miracle class.

Again the rankings sometimes do matter but the offers is what matters the most to me. Why are we interested in him? His offer list is small. I watched his 19 film. He looks like he has good vision and reads the plays well. He tackles well.

Why no Utah, Arizona or ASU?

Had the same reaction as you initially but watch the mid-season 2021 highlights. I'm a fan. Plays like JOK. They even line him up at DE.

Biggest concern would be speed / ability to recover as a safety. Kid is definitely a Strong Safety.

i am no scout but I have picked up on somethings since I started watch all these recruits highlights. I could see a JOK type player but he won’t be as good as JOK due to this speed. He might be able to cover a tight end . He is quick enough to beat an offense be lineman man and rush the QB. But he will get beat by WR’s and running backs regularly.

O’Leary was out West over the bye to watch him workout so this all must’ve checked out. Really impressive stuff, athletically, if true. I’ve yet to watch the highlights.

Appears to have run a 10.94 100m. . . .in 2018. Surprising offer list given his athletic ability.

Interesting visit.

Kohl's / CSK 5* Punter. #5 in the US

Bramblett's done after '22. Get him to come in for a year on his own dime and give him a scholarship for 4 more years?

Goes to JSerra Catholic in Orange County, CA.. Good feeder school for ND students

AND he's an Eagle Scout!
