Well if JOK doesn’t go to Green Bay he’s not going tonight. No one left has a need. Insane.

Newsome! yikes Cleveland -only 6 games played in 2018 hurt, 8 starts in 9 games in 2019 hurt , all 6 games in 2020 then injured in b10 champ . 18 starts total - 15 penalties - 1 career INT. Regardless of what the “metrics” and PFF stuff says , the odds that pick works out for Cleveland at a 1st round value is close to zero

Really surprised that JOK is the player that fell out of the 1st rd. He’s an exceptional young man with phenomenal film and production. Weird.

Yeah that's how you make Aaron Rodgers happy. GB just doesn't give a shit about appeasing him.

Stokes. Brutal. Pro Day winner and see a need so you fill it with the next SEC CB that makes sense. Stokes showed little lockdown abilities compared to other CBs, all scheme. That pick stinks.

Gotta be honest, these final picks of the first round are taking forever to get in. Even when the "pick is in" it is taking ages.

It's been like this the whole dang time. I think they just drag it on towards the end to get well into the 11PM CDT hour

Did he measure weird or something?

Underweight? That's the only thing I could think. Maybe teams are just that scared, especially because Simmons was mediocre at best this past year, and Simmons is his best comparison.

Telling y’all JOK only had a limited teams that saw him as a “fit”. You don’t want to miss on a undersized LB. Need a CB, take a CB. Need a pass rush, take the 6’4 DEs. This isn’t JOK falling. It’s the few that could have taken him going a different way and the others being scared to.

I am absolutely shocked JOK fell out of the first. He is way better than Oweh.

I think his best comparison is Patrick Queen. And he was pretty damn good.

JOK and Eichenberg will both be early trade up candidates. Depends who teams prefer of Liam, Jenkins and a few others.

Barmore is the other I’d guess sees someone trade up. He’s top 15 talent wise just has had some questions arise on him

How about Mayock in three years going Ferrell (early), Ruggs, and Leatherwood (early)? Tired of CFB and only watch the Playoff?

I think the Bengals picked well. I'm no Cincy fan, but the dropoff from Chase to the 2nd round guys is bigger than the OTs. Sewell has all the potential in the world, and Slater is good, but Daniel Jeremiah (probably my go-to guy for draft stuff) has had Slater above Sewell for forever. Get a good tackle at the top of 2, and a guard in 3 and you gotta feel great about the Bengals.

Some OTs people like as R1 guys will likely be there at R2 Pick 6, if you like them and can get a OT in R2 it’s not bad. I’d be thinking move up to be sure or pray to god someone doesn’t jump you

Besides Utah this is an incredibly unsurprising list. Keep hammering away down in Georgia.

Teams don't draft on being an exceptional young man, but I get it. Someone is getting a bargain in the 2nd round. When he was available for the Colts, I thought Ballard would grab him given how long they took to announce the pick. As a Colts fan I'm not excited about Paye.

This is another example of how much we over inflate our team's talent. We're not even close to have a roster than can compete with Bama seriously, and why we need to be critical about recruiting and not think every guy is a steal.

On the flip side, BK is doing an outstanding job with "some good talent".

We don't overinflate our team talent. ESPN has JOK rated the 12th best player, just some teams didn't agree. We have 7-10 guys that will get drafted. We're not on the level of 3 teams on average: Bama, Clemson, tOSU. But guess what, they almost always finish in the top 4 of recruiting rankings. We're not getting a ton of top-50 guys but we're headed in the right direction. Why do we need to be critical about recrutiing? We don't control shit and the staff has proven very adept at finding incredibly talented guys, JOK is case in point.

I think that takeaway quickly has some odd equivalencies. Does that mean Va Tech and NW are closer in talent to Bama than Ohio State? Does that mean 2020 ND was less talented than previous teams?

Last night proved its a WR league and Bama is dominant, not sure much more than that

The lack of elite talent is holding us back immensely though. When you have ~3 first rounders, you can punch above your weight class in a single game by having a great game plan based on matchups. We just don't have any of that other than Kyle Hamilton? I would trade 3 superstars for 6 starters any day to give us a better chance.

Fields to the Bears, wow. Would not have ever guessed that 4 months ago.

Four hours of hearing people's names called and this was easily the most entertaining part of it all. It was shocking. I really figured Denver was going to get Fields.

Most GMs don't get to draft two QBs. I think Fields fits what Matt Nagy would like to do on offense. It was a bold move and from what I can gather their fans seem pretty excited about it. Or those are all just Twitter bots.

Fields may turn out to be great, but the history of OSU QB's is they flame out faster than a comet. I'm probably wrong, but I think this was a risky take for the Bears.
