I really don't even know. Could see a loss or win by 4 TDs.

Weather forecast is occasional rain showers and high 50's. Irish passing game not currently doing well, which the rain could have even a more negative effect on it and I'm sure Pitt will load the box. I'm going with the Irish "eeking out" a win by 3-4 pts. thanks to our D.

I better load the fridge with plenty of beer for this one!

For some reason, I get the feeling that they start to clean things up and control this game.

BK and Rees are gonna have Narduzzi yelling at his entire defensive staff by the second quarter. Tremble scores on a deep pass over the middle off of play action, Austin makes a TD grab in the corner on a ball that Book throws on time, and Kyren, Tyree and Book each score a rushing TD.

Pitt kicks a 3rd quarter field goal and scores a late TD against the subs with their mobile QB to make it look respectable.

ND 35
Pitt 17

I don't really like the options, but I think they pull off the W by 2 possessions. I'm not sure it'll ever really feel like a comfortable win, but this doesn't strike me as the same Pitt trap as previous years, especially immediately after the Louisville game last Saturday.

I just don't see ND WR's beating the pass interference that Narddog instructs on a play by play basis. He will run blitz 1st and 2nd down until ND does something to make him stop.

So far this year, Book has 2 games that make you cringe and even the other two were not jump up and down performances by him. Pitt will be the best defense ND has faced all year and will probably be the second best D they face during the Charmin soft regular season. There were 4 games coming into the year that I thought ND could lose...Clemson, Pitt, Lville and UNC. I just don't have a good feeling about this.

Pitt's offense is pretty bad and their running game is nonexistent. I know better than to expect ND to put up a bunch of yards or points here but if Pickett isn't at full health ND could legitimately pitch a shutout this weekend.

Not the Pitt of year's past. Book plays well and Rees calls a gem. Suck it Narduzzi.

You are probably right and there is some PTSD around the 2018 game and the 2015 game wasn't exactly dominating either. It just seems that no matter the circumstance, Pitt is a thorn.

Going in the road is what this offense needs. Irish quiet the naysayers with a win that isn’t close.
