-I see McKinley, especially with tonight’s news, not coming back.

-Robertson, Wardlow, and JGH are easy names to consider too although it would be great if we can exit Spring above 85.

That’s not true. You can offer one semester scholarships. There’s a walk on at UM who I know for a fact got a one semester scholarship only for him to have to walk on for his 5th year. It was more of a spring football thing and a nice thing to do. I wouldn’t count Grunhard and Assaf on the scholarship chart for next season unless they run below the 85. They’d much rather use their scholarships on extra DB’s or if some stud RB wants to transfer.

I believe scholarships for the spring semester have been awarded at Alabama, too. It happens in situations where you have players graduating in Dec or leaving for the NFL and not enough early enrollees to reach eighty-five.

Cool, I sat next to his family (or at least his younger brother) when I was at ND stadium for the Temple game in 2017. Seem like good people.

Mick is funny as well, that should help in the trenches.
Hopefully he can get a TD against a weak team like, say, USC next season.

According to ESPN's site, the kid only had 12 catches on the season and no TD's. Not sure if this is a game changer having him on board.

In his presser during the bowl week, Sampson point blank asked BK about the scholarships and he said they only apply to the spring semester.

I like this move. Gives us a veteran leader in the locker room, and he'll likely be productive as well.

247 has us at 89 scholarships with Crawford, McKinnley, and Kmet still up in there. And that does not count Assaf and Grunhard.
