Maybe St Beano saw the two Heisman future but just misread the smoke coming off that burning bush?

1. Is it just me or does he look like Chase Claypool's little brother?

2. His father is from Chicago, a big ND fan, and basically told Wiltfong that if ND offers, his son might in-turn commit on the spot. I guess we'll see. I'd offer on the visit, no questions asked.

SUPER interesting story on his Dad. He wet to Howe Military less than an hour east of campus during the Holtz era. (Scored 1700 pts at Howe, Top 150ish in the history of Indiana HS hoops.) Played basketball at Tri-State U. (now Trine) near Fort Wayne. After school, ended up in Seattle and became the go to guy who detailed various Seahawk players cars. Did this for over 10 years. Through his connections with his now friends on the team (like Marcus Trufant & Marshawn Lynch), got a local sports talk radio gig. Flash forward to today, he's the co-host for John Clayton's daily ESPN Radio show in Seattle.

LOVE American Dream stories like these.

Strong Michiana connections. Has to be tight with Sav'ell Smalls, 2020 ND offer from Seattle who is one of the top 2-3 college ready player in the class.

I know if i'm Kelly on the hot seat, these are the kind of early commitments I push for and accept. Same with Pyne, Same with RP3. If it doesn't work out down the road because of grades or lack of development, things can always just fade away and move in different directions.

I have no idea if we have any interest, but found it interesting that Robby Carmody's (2018 Basketball Commit) little brother got an offer from Pitt yesterday and one from Temple today to play football.

He's very raw, as he had been focusing on basketball up until this year. He didn't play football as a freshman. He's currently at 6'6" - 265 pounds and not done growing. Played at Tight End and Defensive End this year. Athletic enough to do a 360-degree dunk in practice the other day. It will be interesting on how he develops and if ND get's involved at some point.

I read a blurb by Mike White about him a few weeks ago and watched the film. The film's meh until I realized he's 6-6/265 already.

He needs to move to Tackle and get paid.

Josh Lugg's little brother Jacob is in this class too at North Allegheny. Definitely two to watch.

Same HS as Armstrong, Grunhard and 2018 ND baseball commit (who was the QB of Miege's undefeated #1 team this year) and possible PWO QB Carter Putz. Putz was the Gatorade POTY in Kansas.

Great kid and program. Hoban is a Holy across school and has been putting out D1 talent consistently for the past 4 Years. He started as a freshman on a state championship defense. He also is a heck of a running back. I wonder what ND wants him for? Personally just sign him and figure the rest out later.
