Lol dipshits over in Minneapolis are protesting Donald Trump AND Joe Biden concurrently.

"I dont like the President and I dont think Joe Biden will make me happy either so I'm gonna go walk on the interstate at night to let people know how I feel!" - These idiots.

Looks like Trump got a solid dump of votes in AZ. Right in the range he needs to keep the party going.

Georgia lmao man thats tight.

Whoever is President is going to have some tough sledding over the next 4 years.

Can anyone explain (without a partisan tilt) what’s going on in Philly? Apparently according to the press conference, the city Dems aren’t allowing Republicans to be allowed to partake in counting over sight as per the law? And also, what’s up with AZ?

I tried sitting through articles to find actually what’s going on but just get hysteria from both sides

It wasn't the republican workers that were supposed to be overseeing the operation it was a bunch of 21 chromosome maga hat wearing idiots that showed up banging on the glass.

AZ looks to be shifting because the outstanding votes are made up of a larger portion of day of votes than was previously assumed.

No article, making reference to this and the similar rhetoric.

Darling, I will gladly eat my words if there’s zero riots/looting in all the cities that saw the need to board up their businesses. And I should’ve been more specific...instead of Leftists, I should have said ANTIFA, BLM and other lunatic fringe groups. I can acknowledge that the loons on either side don’t represent each party. So excuse the generalization.

I didn’t include an article b/c it was a prediction based on the trend over 2020. Unless, of course; some right wing loons are the ones that looted the Wal-Mart in Philly in the name of....who the hell knows what their excuse was. I guess Portland’s rioting worked...they legalized meth, heroin, etc. So they got that going for them...which is nice.

You listen to any of the ND pods on the Clemson matchup, yet? I hear Ian Miles Chong & Andy Ng have predicted that Clemson will win by three TD.

Ha Ha...the election is over boys. Harris wins the WH, Reps keep the Legislative Branch. Sounds like at least two years of gridlock which is a pleasant surprise.

Stock market moving up again. With Republicans holding the Senate, analysts aren’t fearing radical changes.

Seams like a lot of shady ballots this go around. Regardless of outcome, I just hope that it is legit.

My dream now is we get manual recounts and a bunch of mail votes get tossed for stupid minor mistakes lol

I suspect that is probably Trump's path now but as long as we keep the Senate, I'm pleased.

Gotta wonder if the folks who dumped on the right leaning pollsters like Trafalgar are going to start asking them for help in the future.

This has to be a takeaway, what an absolute joke. Nate Silver is trying to save his skin on twitter right now, but how can you have a polling mistake similar to 2016 again? "Ohio is in play, Iowa, possibly even Texas"

You gotta wonder if many of these guys will even have jobs during the next cycle. I'm sure it's not an easy job by any means but unless you play baseball you can't fail at your job this badly and expect people to keep paying you lol.

Kinda wondering what sort of internals each of the campaigns had.

I believe that the campaigns pretty much knew. Just note where they sent their candidates at the last days.

Nah just showing up to counting centers and harassing people doing their jobs. Also filing as many lawsuits as the can to STOP legal votes from being counted. Lol

Both sides have their crazies. They aren't breaking any laws. They aren't destroying any property. They aren't burning down buildings. They aren't stealing anything.

Carry on.

Riot declared in Portland. Must be the Trumpers...

Lol Portland is crazy in general. Pointing to Portland to describe typical liberals is non-representative. Pretty much everyone is calm across the country except for the battleground states where counting is going on.

Uh no. Your narrative is flat out wrong and stupid. Again, conservatives don't steal goods and burn down cities when we're pissed off. You won't see it.

Again, this was never my "narrative" I didn't make any claim about leftist riots. That was your boy Irishize. I do agree that it is flat out wrong and stupid.

So if Trump was announced the winner you think it would be peaceful and there would be no protesting and looting?

That's not the point? The point was that Irishize's claim that the Left was going to riot regardless was fucking insane.

You do agree, that claiming the Left would riot if Biden won was stupid, right?

Yes I don't think they will loot if Biden it declared a winner.

Those wacky Portlanders just can't help themselves. I wonder if they are addicted to protesting?

We just checked my GF's ballot in Cobb county, thank god it went through. Looking at the results of that county, and the long wait times make complete sense.

Imagine if we simply elected the candidate with the most votes

1, we are a republic not a democracy.
2, we all should care more about local and state elections more than this national bullshit.
3, its high time Congress has balls and takes powers back from the executive that it has been relinquishing for years, but won't because it's a way for those in Congress to hedge their bets and look good for reelections.
4, the states are, essentially, electing the President, not the people which is a necessity in a constitutional republic such as our own.
5, if we are removing the interest of the states, then we really might as well abolish the Senate and the states.
6, direct elections could potentially lead to monarchy (Do you see these Trumpers that keep clamoring for Donnie Jr, Ivanka, Eric, etc. to be next? Imagine if a group started doing this with direct elections and gained the traction to keep electing them over and over).
7, one man, one vote isn't in the Constitution
8, People love to complain about Trump (and I don't like him) winning in 2016 (and possibly this year) despite not winning the popular vote. Democrats, every election, have a head start of 104 EC votes from NY, CA, and IL. that's 38.5% of the 270, and they really should have FL too, so that brings them to 133 and 49% after just 4 states!
9, PA very well may flip back blue despite on 9 (13.4%) of the counties being blue. So is that really representative of PA as a whole?

I am concerned as we all should be about the near future "social"/"hatred" responses that we're likely to see around the country ... and I am concerned about certain other impacts upon COVID matters and, following on that, economic matters --- all connected pretty overtly to the public "show" that the current executive will put on. (place blame wherever, but these coming activities are closely tied to these predicted actions either way.)

First: The Captain Obvious predictions.
A. Biden will be declared the winner of the votes in Pennsylvania, Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, and Wisconsin (and who knows what else) and therefore winner of the election;
B. Trump will claim that he is the winner and has been cheated across the whole nation in a variety of premeditated ways;
C. Trump will demand recounts in several states. This he will do even though he does not really believe that recounts in most of those places will overturn anything;
D. Trump will then move on to trying to take various states or whomever to court. Most if not all of these nuisance suits will be denied as having no merit, and he will know that ahead of time;
E. C&D will create an environment and a significant length of time to spew forth a Twitter Storm of complaining --- but worse than that, just barely beneath the threshold of direct calls for rioting and serious civil disobedience, embedded in that storm will be all manner of "suggestion" as to why he has been wronged and what the True Americans should do about it.

That's the Captain Obvious part of this.

Second: What's not quite so obvious.
A. As time goes on, people will think and believe that he cannot possibly believe anything that he's saying, and is just "being Trump" putting on his "normal" It's-all-about-me ego-show. And some of this will begin that way;
B. But as time goes further on, Trump WILL believe all of it himself. He WILL in his mind become truly the victimized hero of the tale, the Man Who Did No Wrong, The Chosen One --- The Man Above All Others. He knows that is who he is, and always has been --- The Genius, The Smartest Man in Any Room;
C. As he achieves those details of that mental state completely (he already has the mental state just lacks a few details), what will he continue to say?

Why would I think that might happen?

I consulted, for a little less than two years, for a real estate billionaire quite like Trump. He was a nightmare to work for. His outstanding characteristic was that he had huge wealth in sufficient portions to his ego, that he could basically "buy" his own historical narrative. No one stayed near to him in his employ who disagreed with anything of substance. One Strike and You're Out! (Reminds me of Trump's famous "smiling line": You're FIRED!!. Thank God my consultancy only required one weekend every quarter --- still, I and my buddies only lasted six quarters even so.)

This guy had been insanely wealthy for so long that he had no balancing anchor to his ego. If something happened --- and I mean something that was just flat concretely true --- that went against his image of himself as The Smartest Guy in the Room --- a couple of days later you would find that the "facts" had subtly changed, then the "image" wholly changed, then the King restored. Reminding him of things was not advisable --- not only were you fired, but you never could penetrate the BRILLIANT PICTURE of My LIFE and do any good.

As this megalomaniac (Trump) crystallizes his Crowned King image --- what is he going to do? TWITTERSTORM for sure, but what will the content be? Will he continue to suggest divisive even "physical" things? Will he arrange his own out-of-office GALA events?

Everyone whose minds work realizes that the country doesn't need more incendiary fuel poured on it now (or anytime for that matter.) MANY Republicans have already said exactly these things ... and so, Democrats, Independents, Americans of all types and Non-Americans of all types --- Everybody is pleading NOT to burn the place down in any ways. WILL HE SEE THAT? WILL HE CARE?

... and one other thing that I can almost predict clearly: Trump will continue to meddle with big important matters and his Twittering will prove quite sufficient as a tool. The big one will be COVID. His tweeting will contain nothing encouraging discipline on this, and I will bet, much encouraging ignoring the lockdowns, and grouping warnings, and flagrant defiance of the CDC and the "fake scientists" who, he will decide, also cost him the election.

This (despite what a small number of IE posters like to project) will not be "funny." Leaving aside the fact that people will die, these defiances will prolong the COVID problem and the sickening of the economy.

Do any of us think that Trump will take that into account in his Twitterstorm?
