With CFB over, and no real NFL this weekend, you might want to check out the Reece's Senior Bowl on Saturday.

Drue, Dex, and Coney will be playing for the North with a chance to improve draft stock.

I think Love, Tillery, and Alize are fine with their draft stock (and not bowling). I little surprised Coney is playing. Alize will be one of the faster TE's out there, and probably the 7-11th TE taken. Would guess late 3rd to 5th round. Hopefully he gets a shot with someone that uses TEs like detached jumbo WRs. I still think we used him the wrong way.

I remember seeing Alize post his Senior Bowl invite on Twitter & assumed he would attend as he seemed to accept the invitation (IIRC). Oh well, maybe he changed his mind.

Most of the guys on that list weren’t top level prospects at the time of the senior bowl. Aaron Donald for example absolutely dominated and that’s when his stock really started to takeoff. To your point though, they have had some guys who turned out to be stars attend.

All the guys measured/weighed in pretty well today.

Coney was 6 feet and 244 pounds.

Tranquill was 6 foot 2 and 228 pounds.

Williams was 5’11 and 215 pounds.

When I checked the roster 2 weeks ago Mack was listed. he must have pulled out recently. Could be due to an injury...

I believe the mix up with the Senior Bowl as it relates to Alize is you have to have graduated in order to participate. Since Alize hasn't graduated, he can't participate.

Here is the statement, "Only college seniors and fourth-year junior graduates are eligible for the game. Fourth-year junior graduates must have graduated by the December prior to the game to be eligible."

Obviously, this is why Love isn't participating as a True Junior.

Is it a fact that Alize didn't graduate in December? I have no idea and am asking if it's a fact or you are guessing.

He could have pulled out for other reasons. Injury, agent advised him not to, family emergency, etc...

So I'll ask again. it's a fact that Alize did not graduate in December?

Former Irish players Drue Tranquill and tight end Alizé Mack are also playing in an all-star game. They accepted invites to compete in Reese's Senior Bowl on Jan. 26, 2019. Tranquill, a linebacker, saw his eligibility expire following 2018. Mack, a tight end, elected to forgo his final season and declare for the NFL Draft.

Drue Tranquill and Alize Mack have accepted invites to play in the Reese’s Senior Bowl on January 26th, 2019.

Tranquill, a Fort Wayne native, will have exhausted his eligibility at the end of this season. Many thought he was going to enter the NFL Draft after the 2017 season, but he quickly announced at the 2017 Awards banquet that he would be returning for his fifth year. Drue is third on the team in total tackles this season with 75, and has a career total of 281 tackles to go along with 5.5 sacks and 3 interceptions.

Mack, a Las Vegas native, will forego his final year of eligibility — but is still on track to leave with a Notre Dame degree. Alize has had a fairly underwhelming career in South Bend after arriving as the “next guy” at Tight End U. Mack missed all of the 2016 season due to an academic situation. He has played a lot better this season with 34 receptions for 349 yards and 3 TD’s, but his career totals 66 receptions for 705 yards and 4 TD’s fall exceptionally short of the expectations that everyone had for him.

Not sure what happened. Doubt he would have got the invite, and in turn all the pub/reports if he were not eligible.
