Here are the FBS Power 5 sack leaders this year.
1) Mat Boesen - TCU - 6'4'' 240
2) Peter Kalambayi - Stanford - 6'3'' 247
3) Hercules Mata'afa - Wazzu - 6'2'' 252
4) Montez Sweat - Miss St - 6'6'' 240
5) Landis Durham - Texas A&M - 6'3'' 255
6) Bradley Chubb - NC State - 6'4'' 275
7) Rasheem Green - USC - 6'4'' 275
8) Jeff Holland - Auburn - 6'2'' 250
9) Uchenna Nwosu - USC - 6'2'' 240
10) Clelin Ferrell - Clemson - 6'5'' 260
That's basically giving a range of 6'2''-6'6'' 240-275. On our roster we have
1) Elijah Taylor - RS JR - 6'3'' 275
2) Daelin Hayes - JR - 6'4'' 258
3) Khalid Kareem - JR - 6'4'' 266
4) Julian Okwara - JR - 6'4'' 240
5) Adetokunbo Ogundeji - RS SO - 6'5'' 256
6) Kofi Wardlow - RS FR - 6'2'' 240
7) Justin Ademilola - FR - 6'3'' 240
I hope the 2019 class we are able to get a few of these prospects because Hayes, Kareem, and Okwara are talented, but I'm not sure about the other prospects. That's why I think the recruiting in that category of DL is very important. I hope we have a chance with Zach Harrison, Brandon Smith, Nana Osafo-Mensah, Joseph Anderson, Jason Bargy, Casey Kline, and Marcus Hicks and others.
