FAB, ha ha. He's getting what he deserves
That's right.
Despite all that talk about regression, Mahomes has somehow yet to dip below his the lowly 0.35 EPA per play he had in 2018. Oh wait... that 2018 EPA per play led the entire league last year! And in 2019,Mahomes has managed to beat it. Every. Single. Week.
In 2019. Mahomes truly is breaking the NFL.
How much of that performance was helped by yards gained after the catch -- and which receivers shined?
Defense vs. Baltimore
Play Type EPA/Ply Success
Rate Att
Run Defense 0.38 56% 30
Pass Defense -0.03 35% 52
The Ravens absolutely gashed the Chiefs on the ground. The defense gave up a whopping 0.38 expected points per play. This was ranked dead last in the NFL for Week 3 -- and it wasn't even close. The fifth-worst team (the Arizona Cardinals) gave up just 0.07 expected points per play. That said, many of those runs were against a Chiefs defense just looking to preserve the lead -- and at the end of the day, it's passing that wins in today's NFL.
And for the second straight week, the Chiefs defense limited the opponent's passing game to negative expected points added per play. This was the 10th-best performance of the week -- which when combined with the Chiefs' number one offense -- is more than enough to win games against great teams. Overall, there's lots to be excited about with the new and improved Chiefs Defense.
Mohamed Sanu to the Patriots.
Vikes are rolling. Where has this Kirk Cousins been? I guess it just took being called out for him to finally pull his head of out of his ass.
BTW, what the giants wore last night should remind everyone that the classic unis look so much better than the 'new and improved' unis almost across the board.
I said the same thing to my buddy as we watched the game. Those unis looks so good, and I am a sucker for Cowboys wearing blue too, so that made the game, visually, one I enjoyed
So many now are just 'wtf!?" compared to what the team had 20 years back or whenever... Seahawks, Chargers, Broncos, Pats, hell, even the Bucs managed to make the creamsicles look decent compared to what they wear now... and lord knows my Browns need to go back to these and never mess with them again:

I actually like what the Chargers have been doing lately using the white helmet with yellow facemask. Couple that with the powder blues, and they're good. I agree about all the others, especially the Broncos and Bucs. Those two just scream 90s!![]()
I always thought the unis they went to the super bowl with were their best. Not a huge fan of the powders... OH! and Miami, dear lord do they need to go back too...
Ha,.. no, these:

Like most in the country I haven't watched them this season but I think they are starting to wear them more... the new ones:

are terrible imo... but the throwbacks at the top are one of the better uniforms ever imo.
I absolutely agree. Speaking of great throwbacks, I loved watching the 49ers wear these against Carolina last week:

I never liked the addition of the black to the unis after the Montana run honestly but those are better than normal.
I am a big advocate for the removal of BFBS* in all uniforms. But these all whites have a place in my heart as that's the era I was old enough to start remembering the games and all.
*Thanks Paul Lukas
Me trying to figure out wtf this means:

I give up
After Sunday's games, sixteen NFL teams have records of 4-6 to 6-4, including the entire AFC South.
Seven teams have records of 8-3 or better. Five of those are in the NFC.
Denver (3-7) have lost six games by seven points or less with three of those losses by two points.
All but Minnesota have played ten games. Chiefs and Chargers will play their eleventh game tonight.
GB/SF on SNF looks to be a good one; huge implications as the winner will have control for the #1 seed in the NFC.
I hope Green Bay wins it all this year so these 'rings equal greatness' mouth breathers can shut up on it in regards to Aaron...

Why are you the way that you are? Honestly, every time I try to enjoy an NFL season, you have to make it not that way.

Nope, don't like that.I hope Green Bay wins it all this year so these 'rings equal greatness' mouth breathers can shut up on it in regards to Aaron...
Browns-Steelers at The Horseshoe in Columbus? Colts-Texans at Notre Dame Stadium? Lions-Bears at the Big House in Ann Arbor? Nick Saban’s former NFL team playing in his current college team’s home stadium?
The latter might be a stretch, but the others certainly would be in the realm of possibility, depending on how the next several months play out. (cont)
