Most impressive freshmen:

Bo Bauer came in midyear. Has physically transformed himself and adjusted well mentally. The one EE that is mentioned specifically.

The group that came in for the summer, in general, has stood out in terms of being prepared to get involved.

Seems like the suspension is confirmed. It's good to hear that Dex is still prepared and getting himself in good shape, though.

Yeah, I doubt he will be out there vs. mich. But who knows how many games it will be. Could be less than 4.

Yup. I always get excited for these things like they're going to announce who killed JFK, or reveal Area 51 secrets, then come away with a sadz.... At least OSU is a dumpster fire right now to keep my spirits high.

Folks complain and make jokes when BK talks up the team and certain individuals. Then when he has a fall camp presser and he doesn't do that, folks about upset that he didn't get them hyped up enough. Damned if you do, damned if you don't, I guess.

I don't really care what was or wasn't said in the presser. I am just happy the first presser is upon us and that means I will get to watch another season of Notre Dame Football very soon.

the Dexter situation was handled badly by the press pack. Once BK fobbed off the initial question the very next question from another beat writer should have been about DW as well. They totally folded on that and it was quite pathetic IMO

I love that BK left a little hope for green jerseys out there. I think it would be incredible if they did the old warm up in blue, come out in green routine. Especially if they keep it a secret from the players until they come back from warm ups to find green jerseys hanging in their lockers. That stadium would go berserk.

I just want to know if our OL can protect the QB because that is going to dictate the success of the team.

Then I want to know about RB, WR, S, TE, etc.

Hopefully the videos tomorrow will go a long way to helping us understand what we have.

the problem with them all is that when they ask questions they are just looking for quotes for their boring season preview articles.

If we're being honest, though, we're in a good spot when the most exciting/scintillating thing about the opening presser is about a single player's availability for the first four games.

I wish reporters would have pressed for more info on the freshmen, but I think BK is trying to avoid projecting too much since the new rules will force the staff to take an extended look at all of those guys anyway.

He doesn't need to establish expectations, because there will be opportunities to determine how to use all of the freshmen in a reasonable fashion.
