Not sure if we have a profile but Rivals 250 S Todd Harris out of Louisiana said that his best relationship is with Lyght. A visit is in the works. LSU and Ole Mi$$ in here as well.
They were going back and forth about visiting after he committed last year. Then it died. I would like to see more action with Archbishop Hoban as it's a Congregation of Holy Cross school too. Well, that and they've had some good players like Morris, Sibley, Clark and Nate Bauer in '18 who ND is in contact with.
If he decommits, I wouldn't be surprised to see ND pick it back up.
Also - He and Danny clark have been committed to the home state team for a while and then OSU parades the best RB and dual threat QB around in front of 100,000 for their spring game. It's just business as usual but it's still a kick in the teeth for a high school kid... especially if you've been told they're done recruiting the position. We'll see.

Between Sanford, HH and Denson, we're in really good shape. Elston and Denbrock are no slouch either and Kelly is solid of course.

Am I seeing things or is his left arm 4 inches longer than his right?

Those are just locker #'s.
Should have used italics, I guess.
That Hippenhammer kid was offered by ND, per ISD.
According to previous discussions on this board, it looks like we already have the following 20 guys either committed or close to committing in the near future:
QB: Avery Davis, Jack Sears, I keed, I keed
RB: CJ Holmes, Colin Wilson
WR: Jordan Pouncey, Tarik Black (possible silent commit), Michael Young, OSB, Jamire Calvin
TE: Cole Kmet, Brock Wright
OL: Josh Lugg, Dillon Gibbons, Robert Hainsey, Foster Sarell, Jedrick Wills
DT: Kurt Hinish, Darnell Ewell, Christian Whitaker, Dayln Wade-Perry
DE: Jonathon MacCollister, K'Jakyre Daley, Hunter Echols, Joshua Paschal, Cortez Alston
LB: Drew White, David Adams, Pete Werner, Justin Foster
CB: Said Adebo, Thomas Graham
S: Isaiah Robertson, Amari Carter, Jaylon Kelly-Powell
A couple of questions:
1. What is the maximum number of players that we can realistically take?
- Too many variables this far out to answer. I'd shoot for 24 and let it work out
2. How would you rank the position groups in terms of priority? TE and QB are obviously finished, but I could see us adding at least one more to every other group.
-D line. Period
3. How would you rank our top 5-10 remaining targets going into the season?
Ranked by need and talent
1. Hunter Echols
2. Joshua Paschal
3. Thomas Graham
4. Justin Foster
5. Foster Sarell
6. Jedrick Wills
7. OSB
8. Colin Wilson
Ranked by talent alone, I'd take Sarell everytime.
Don't be a buyer on Trey Smith, Hezekiah Jones and Latavious Brini.
Watch out for CJ Cotman, Elijah Gates and Stephen Carr down the stretch WHEN things change.
I might be the only one who's not crazy about Daley, or for taking a 3-star DE this summer at all. Season hasn't even started and we're going to win 11 games, and are in a good spot for some really good DL.
Give me Echols or that NC DE/LB that is better than any of our 3-stars we're about to take it seems. Those are the only 2 I'd take summer commits from that we have a shot with.
Justin Foster is his name, and I'm going to follow Sharpley and Loy's lead here, scary thought, and say that I wasn't overly impressed with what I saw from him at II. He looks to be a good LB prospect, probably better suited for a full time 3-4 OLB role, but again, he just didn't flash the quickness that Daley brings. In fact, and TIFWIW but your boy Loy said that he's wondering if we'll continue to pursue Foster all that hard.
Well, obviously a lot of folks have that opinion, that's why he's a 3 star player. Doesn't make it accurate but you are definitely not in the minority, even though, I know you always like to think you are.
The funniest part about the statement is that you say any 3 star at all, as if these rankings are accurate and the staff views all these 3 star players, as 3 star players. At one point Pride, Studstill, and Elliot were all 3 star players. Those guys will be roaming our secondary for a few straight years and I couldn't be more excited about it. That's why the pay sites exist, so people can take their analysis as gospel, I guess.
Daley is the quickest edge player we are after and that includes Echols. Echols is a better prospect due to length which in turn gives him more potential upside, but the two recruitments don't have to be mutually exclusive either. Why not recruit both?

22 - 25 COMMITS

OL F. SARELL
OL J. WILLS
OL T. SMITH

I have 247 and didn't read that ND might not be after Foster, but that doesn't mean Loy didn't say that, I just didn't see it. I did see Loy say ND is more of a player for Foster than Foster lets on, and that Foster has a test to take care of but expects it to be taken care of.
If Daley is the best WDE we have a shot with, I'd personally prefer they slow down and expand their search and wait for OVs for someone off of the radar.
I assume this is a wish list? haha
I didn't say he is the best, I said he's the quickest, which I think his tape shows. He flies off the edge, truly an elite trait, IMO. If I had to rate them, I'd rate Echols higher because of the size he could eventually get to and he's still a quick edge player as well. But again, why not take both? Daley now, and Echols if he wants in after OV's.
The problem with your strategy, is its the same strategy we used at S a couple of cycles back and look where that led us.
IMO i don't think we land Young....he has been soo d@mn pro texas a&m lately...tweeting and retweeting stuff....i think this is one where we think it is going to be a slam dunk and then bye bye...tough pull anyways from south...ONLY reason why i am bringing this up is everyone seems to think he is already committed but i think it makes sense w/ all the offers for the same type of slot receiver
