So it all started when they went down by 21??... That';s funny, I literally turned to the hockey game right as it went to 21 points... It's not you NDBB, it's me...

Bonzie missing those free throws at the end was not nerves. He was exhausted. It looked like he could barely lift his arms.

Wait until the 2nd half tonight. I expect pretty much the whole set of starters "running on empty" by then, not just Bonzi. 3 games in 3 nights has to be exhausting!

The pace of that V tech game did not help our legs any.

They should have ran us out of the gym, I don't know why they slowed tempo with 15 mins left....not complaining though.

For tonight, I know we're not a good zone team but I'd like to see us go with some zone at times to try and buy any sort of rest out there especially since Duke doesn't rely on the 3 as much as in past years. This feels like one of those games where surviving to every media timeout will be an accomplishment. I liked seeing Gibbs with the ball and Farrell playing off-ball the last few mins, too. I really think those two need to rotate attacking the basket to preserve their legs since they should both play 37+ mins for the third consecutive day.

There are a lot of tricks Brey can do to buy time/rest for our guys and he's going to need to use them all.

My ideal line up tonight is Rex on top of the zone with Gibbs and Farrell on the wings. Let Mooney run the baseline and have bonzie float in the middle. I think it will be a waste to not have Mooney playing 25+ minutes and to have either Gibbs or Farrell on top of the zone. The weakness of their zone is the foul line and the corner. UNC had countless opportunities to exploit it but couldn't capitalize.

UVA up 11 at half. Louisville losing big would be nice. I know the committee isn't supposed to have any recency bias, but if they lose by 15+ and we hang tough against Duke, I think it really helps us out with the "eye test" argument with Bonzie back.

edit: just looked at Louisville's resume and their only top-50 RPI wins are 2 wins over FSU who is currently #50. Most brackets have them in right now, but I just don't think Louisville will make it.

I have no idea how they are in right now. They don’t have bad losses like we do but we are defiantly a better team.

I don’t get how ASU and OK are still in the field. I understand they have some great wins but both of them have been horrible the past month

Heard this morning that no team has ever went 2-8 in their last ten games and made the tourney. Oklahoma would be the first team ever if they make it in.

Exactly I heard that too. I don’t agree with them being in. I get it’s about the whole season but it’s got to be a little about what has happened lately and lately Ok has looked horrible.

They're second from the bottom in the Big 12 standings. That'd be bad

That was an absolute killer

I think that only hope for the Irish to make the tournament would be IF they could make it to he ACC final game. I doubt that an upset over Duke tonight alone would be enough now with other bubble teams moving on.

I’m a little nervous with the way things are going, but if they beat Duke they are a slam dunk

Beat Duke and we are in. Play them close and we’ll see. Our computer numbers apart from RPI are strong enough that if the committee thinks we pass the eye test then they can justify putting us in.

We haven’t had much bubble luck the last two days though and Providence winning just now in OT is unfortunate.

I'm a duke basketball fan ND football, I think ND deserves to be in the tourney look at a team like Oklahoma who is a bubble now they just lost yesterday and have lost a lot lately I think ND is a top 25 team when healthy they could be dangerous come tourney time.

Bandwagon from the 90's Laettner era. Guaranteed
