I didn't do anything. Italics are there for a reason.
I'm glad to know that you weren't serious. It wasn't clear.
There are many conservatives who believe that the Clinton's murdered Vince Foster. Without italics, there's no possible way to know that you're tongue in cheek.
Does that article insinuate Clinton killed two people?![]()
I am gonna ban all you motherfuckers.
This West Point thing is hilarious. Holy hell, talk about blowing something out of proportion. This entire thing is 100% semantics. Carson met with the general, and the general probably told him in conversation he'd definitely get in to West Point, and probably stressed that he'd have a scholarship there. That's how the nomination process works, and everyone there obviously gets their school paid for. The end.
Carson is also calling the Politico story total bullshit, because it is. Nowhere in his book did he say that he even applied to West Point... just that he met this general briefly, who probably offered to nominate him and said he'd have a full scholarship. He obviously would've gotten in, so everything checks out unless you want to dive in to phrasing.
All of the people who steadfastly support Hillary and say her enormous amount of lying "doesn't matter" (because it really doesn't) are attacking someone for something that literally does not matter whatsoever. An anecdote about a conversation 45 years ago. Good grief. I thought the media was rough on Brian Kelly... this is next level.
There is so much LEGITIMATE stuff to attack Carson about that why someone would invest time in this BS narrative is beyond my comprehension.
I owe you an apology. My memory was faulty. Looking back at it, I was actually answering this post;
I was just answering his question with a little context, vis-à-vis that particular section of the article that was posted. It was NOT an accusation, however, that she killed anyone.

That reasoning came together Friday morning, after Politico published a story titled "Ben Carson admits fabricating West Point scholarship." After confirming that Carson had never applied to West Point, and that a meeting Carson described with Gen. William Westmoreland apparently did not happen when the candidate had claimed, the story quoted Carson campaign manager Barry Bennett's new explanation.
"He was introduced to folks from West Point by his ROTC Supervisors,” Bennett said. “They told him they could help him get an appointment based on his grades and performance in ROTC. He considered it but in the end did not seek admission.”
West Point cadets must be sponsored by a member of Congress or the Secretary of the Army. But Doug Watts, a spokesman for the campaign, said that Carson never completed -- nor claimed to have completed -- the process for acceptance into West Point, and those never had an official sponsor.
"He was told by the ROTC Commander that he could have an appointment," explained Watts. "Dr. Carson rejected the offer, did not apply or pursue admission. Had he done so, and been accepted, that would have been tantamount to a scholarship, the same that all cadets receive."
In an interview, Carson's close friend Armstrong Williams argued that Politico had written a false headline off of Bennett's accurate quote.
"In the story itself, the campaign does not say Dr. Carson applied to West Point," Williams said of Politico. "Dr. Carson boasts about his scores in ROTC. Westmoreland encourages him to apply. As Dr. Carson says, they were impressed by his scores, but he never applied. They said to him, we could get you in. This guy got into Yale -- obviously he could have got in. The headline was a fabrication."
Actually he probably didn't meet Westmoreland didn't happen either though he described it in his book.

ETA: Why is he lying about things like that? He had a great story already but he seemed determined to have the "Greatest Story Ever Told" instead. I also do agree that there are other more important issues with him than this.
Why is Clinton lying about taking sniper fire at an airport? Who knows.......... people with egos that big do some pretty irrational things at times.
30-years of Bernie Sanders Speeches
He is nothing if not remarkably consistent. His speeches from 1989 are.the same as they are today. Not sure what that says about him or what it says about the state of our country.
I would appreciate someone embedding this. I can't. If you do I won't ban you.
Bernie is the only candidate that I really like but kasich isn't bad on the other side.
Yeah that has to be the thinking at GOP headquarters. But even winning Ohio and Florida isn't enough for them these days. That's pretty remarkable considering history.Rubio Kasich , either way, could actually win... Not so sure many if any GOP combos have a realistic chance...

Kasich is one of the only adults in that room. I think he'll be the VP pick for Rubio.
But his first big effort as governor was taking on Ohio's public unions. It didn't go over well for him. He is not similar to Bernie Sanders in any respect. He just isn't crazy like most of the GOP candidates.
Not sure I am buying this....

I do not see how they concluded Bush will be the GOP candidate. It seems like he is a sinking ship. I am a Bernie supporter, and have a hard time believing he beats Hillary 2-1 in the primary. That said, I would love to see it play out that way.
Well there is a lot to question but I don't see that as as improbable. He is peppering my tv with adds every break. Probably saw 18 commercials during the ND game yesterday. Even more today during NFL. One of the said his nickname Veto Corleone and he would "whack" any bills he did not want. Lol. Nice imagery there Bush.
He will probably be the candidate IMO.
This is why IMO. He is really the most qualified out of all the candidates and he was the governor of a purple state.Based on what? He's done nothing but drop in the polls, he's an establishment guy, he's laying off campaign staff, and not doing anything special in the debates. I'll crack open a celebratory beer when he drops out.
