I read this as confidence building in Grace's return, Mogan's development, and Schmidt's ability. Martini put in some solid minutes last year. Hope he pushes the OLBs.

so bets on the final starting OL?

Stanley, Q, Martin, Elmer, McG ?

or

Stanley, Bars, Martin, Elmer, McG ?

or

Stanley, Q, Martin, Elmer, Bars?

or

Stanley, Q, Martin, Bars, McG?

I'm going with the first option, are there any plausible permutations I missed?

Procise getting the GAIII treatment.

But Prosise is has shiftiness to complement his straight-line speed. I think Prosise has been underutilized in the offense. His hands have been suspect at times but his ability to move the chains is undeniable. I think we'll see a bit more production from him in '15

Am I misreading this or is Coach saying that Jhonny may have put on bad weight? Maybe they mean sculpt him up technique-wise?

As of now it sounds like OT's are set with Stanley LT and McGlinchey RT. The only spot up for real competition seems to be LG with Q and Bars. I think Q is the more natural LG and wins the spot. Therefore, I go with option 1.

It sounds like he added a few too many lbs. and they might need to trim that a little. They want to see how he moves at this weight.

Agreed. I'm not predicting that Procise will struggle like GAIII did. Just noting the general similarity of "explosive athlete with sh!tty hands gets moved from WR to RB."

Maybe, but that isn't how I read it. They told him to put on weight and he complied (from an earlier update from the presser ... him and others). Now, they need to turn that extra weight into productive muscle. He was way too skinny before to have any read chance at meaningful playing time. Tansform that weight and boom, we may just see what he's capable of playing against the big boys.

He's not moving though, right? Sounds like he's going to split time to provide more depth at RB in the Spring. I would not be shocked if this experiment ended at the conclusion of the spring game.
