2015 NFL Mock Draft

In an effort to keep this moving, I'm taking the Falcons pick and giving the Steelers pick to Kingbish01 (the team he wanted originally).

With the 8th pick in the 2015 IE NFL Mock Draft, the Atlanta Falcons select Shane Ray, DE Missouri.
All 32 NFL teams could use more pass rush help and the Falcons are no exception. At 6' 3", 245 lbs., Ray might be the best fit with his first-step quickness to threaten the pocket. Ray is an explosive athlete with elite power for a player of his size and he explodes off of the line. Although his length is not ideal, he has more thea enough positives to overcome that concern.

The Falcons have been active adding front-seven defenders via free agency, but that won't stop Atlanta from targeting a true pass rusher with this pick.

My 1st pick was going to be Scherff...

So, with the 9th pick of the 2015 IE Mock Draft, the NY Giants select... Arik Armstead, Defensive Tackle, Oregon

After having one of the NFL's worst defenses in 2014, the Giants will look to Arik Armstead to add a force in the middle.

With the 10th pick of the 2015 IE Mock Draft, the St. Louis Rams select... Kevin White, Wide Receiver, West Virginia

The Rams decide to take the best player available while also bolstering their offensive weapons! They wanted to take Randy Gregory but due to his recent drug tests they decided to steer away from future problems.

With the 11th pick in the NFL draft the Minnesota Vikings pick Trae Waynes CB Michigan St.

Minnesota has struggled with pass defense the past few years, especially at the CB position opposite Xavier Rhodes. This would allow Captain Munnerlyn to slide into his more natural position as the slot CB and would give the Vikings to very good CBs allowing them to blitz more often to get pressure. Many people have Minnesota taking a WR in this slot but I feel that there is great value throughout the draft at the WR position and I also feel that there is no dominant offensive tackle to be taken here as well.

With the 12th pick in the NFL draft the Cleveland Browns select Danny Shelton DT/NT University of Washington
Eastern_Washington_Washington_Football.jpg

Im upset by this pick, and i'm the one making it. Bkess8 fucked my big board by taking White at #10. I looked for a better option, but in the end I couldn't justify passing on the chance to sure up the middle of our line. The Browns looked like a JV team trying to stop the run last year, here's hoping Shelton can help.

Sorry about that man I couldn't pass up a chance to add an elite wide receiver. I would of took him at #10 no matter what team was on the clock! I think he has the skills to be an elite wide out in the NFL.

I dont blame you lol. I was surprised he lasted until #10. IMO there is a huge gap between Cooper>White>>>>>>>Parker>Perriman>Green-Beckham

To the QB discussion... If the Browns trade up and get Mariota I'm happy bc they got a QB that isn't a spoiled punk who actually has some chance to be a winner in the NFL... If they trade up and get Winston Im ecstatic bc they got a prototype who may be a HOFer... And yes, he needs to work on his maturity... But everyone passed on another very simalirly shat on QB bc he 'wasn't right up top' his name was Dan Marino... I think Winston has that type of potentional... And I think he's easily the best ' talent' to come out at his position since Andrew Luck... Just me.

With that said, I was just kidding about taking the Bucs, and never wanted the browns either pick... Can GATT just take both Cleveland first rounders? This thread is fun to read here and there but I have zero desire to make any picks...

Pretty sure i was already assigned both picks for the Browns, so i'll carry this burden alone. Did i get the ACamp approval with my first selection?

You did the best with what was there for sure... :)

( I was assigned the browns second pick a day or so ago, never heard back on my requests to differ so I thought I was still there... My bad... Now get a receiver )

With the 13th pick in the NFL draft, the New Orleans Saints select DeVante Parker, WR, Louisville.

DeVante+Parker+Eastern+Kentucky+v+Louisville+dYX2bgjNNXFl.jpg

With the departure of Jimmy Graham and Kenny Stills, the Saints are in dire need of a tall, speedy, strong receiver. Parker brings the ability to make big plays downfield as well as be a big threat in the red-zone with his massive catch radius and wingspan. Saints almost went with Gregory here, but the New Orleans cuisine was proven too much to tempt Gregory's munchies.

I respectfully disagree with this. I think Parker is an animal. The dude only played in 6 games last season, over arguably the most difficult stretch of Louisville's schedule, with a shit QB situation, and STILL put up 800+ yards and 5 TD's.

Had he been healthy, he could have kept pace with Cooper's numbers, and on a much less talented football team.

With the 14th pick in the NFL draft, the Miami Dolphins select La'el Collins, OT, LSU.

ncf_i_laelcollins_ms_1296x729.jpg

Luckily Devante Parker came off the board the pick before or I would have felt pressured to select him even though I feel is over rated. However, I also would have rather traded down in the first round as players at a position of need can be had further down the board. Ultimately the pick ended up being La'el Collins, a left tackle for LSU who will be a plug and play left guard for the Dolphins and address their biggest need. Over the past two years Tannehill has been on the ground repeatedly due to poor offensive line play, and its time to see what he can do with a clean pocket. Dallas Thomas can now be demoted to the backup position he belongs in, and hopefully Collins can have a Zack Martin-like influence on the Dolphins offensive line.

Hi Guys, i'm swamped at work and haven't really been able to review all who has been picked and who is available.

If it's cool to wait till tonight, if not someone else can take my spot.

The 49ers select Malcolm Brown.
To replace defensive line losses. Has the versatility to play either DE or DT.

Great pick, I was thinking they should pick him, Randy Gregory or Bud Dupree to replace defensive losses.

Sorry i couldn't make the pick. but, you picked exactly who I was going to.

49ers lost J Smith, P Willis, Borland, Chris Culliver, Parish Cox, Frank Gore and Iupati. They have many holes.

Wanted Kevin White, Trae Waynes, Arik Armstead, Scherff, Parker or La'el Collins but all were off the board already.

Best available player and at position of need is Malcolm Brown.

Reps for stepping in for me and make the best pick.

Glad I was fortunate enough to pick whom you wanted. Isn't it great when best player and biggest need align? You are welcome to pick for me, Sherm, if you miss the action.

The pick is in...

The pick is in...

With the 16th pick in the 2015 NFL Draft the Houston Texans select Ereck Flowers OL Miami.

6_1066966.jpg

We view Ereck to be the best offensive lineman in the entire draft from an upside and fit perspective. He's massive, tough and experienced.

With Hoyer and Mallet at QB, the focus will be on solidifying the interior of the offensive line. This pick allows Flowers to start off at guard and kick out later or Derek Newton to slide inside (where he looked really good last year), whichever looks better during Training Camp.
