Surprisingly UNC is one of two already basically sold out. UM is the other. Only games I did not get were UNC and FSU. Did get USC, UM, and Stanford!

Nope. Singles will not be available to the public.

Where are you getting that? As far as I can tell, singles will be opened up to contributing alumni and other donors tomorrow at 6:00 PM, and any remaining singles will be up for grabs when the general sale goes live on Thursday.

Ypu are correct. They will be gone by about 6:05pm after the alumni sale begins.

Public sale was a disaster last year. I gave up after my order timed out the third time, and was smaller each time because others were getting through.

Do they still have the ticket windows at Joyce for the PS? I remember doing that in the 2000's and always having luck getting what I wanted. Id rather make the drive up there and wait in line than break my computer.

They still do that. Visiting teams usually return a few.

Here's a question: do Shamrock Series tickets go on sale with the rest of the home games? I heard they went on sale separately, and I'm trying to get tickets for myself and a friend that's a big Purdue fan (didn't know those existed till I met this guy).

Yes.

Single-Game Football Tickets On Sale July 10 - UND.COM - University of Notre Dame Official Athletic Site

Tickets are available for the following games: Aug. 30 vs. Rice, Sept. 13 vs. Purdue (at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis), Oct. 4 vs. Stanford, Oct. 11 vs. North Carolina, Nov. 15 vs. Northwestern and Nov. 22 vs. Louisville. There are no tickets available for the Sept. 6 home game vs. Michigan. All but the Purdue game will be played at Notre Dame Stadium.

What does this mean? Can't buy Michigan game tickets Thursday?

If not then, when/where can you?

I called them, they said at no point are Michigan tickets going on sale to the public. You can check back with them one week before the game and they might have some to sell but they're not sure.

Fuck.

So does this mean the only option is stubhub/some other 3rd party for those who don't want to wait until the last week to see what happens?

Cause they're currently like $400 on stubhub.

Stubhub is one of two options that I can think of. If I were you, I would call the ticket office again days before the game (maybe even the Friday before), and see if anyone returned tickets. There are almost always tickets that get returned. That is your best shot at getting tickets for face value.

It's really not that difficult to scalp tickets. There's no point in paying $400 now because you will undoubtedly be able to scalp for $400 worst case scenario.

Especially if you only need one.

I really don't understand ticket sales.

How are there no tickets? Does that mean that the alumni network used up so many with their lottery because of the interest in the game?

I thought that no matter what, a school had to sell a portion of them to general public, but obviously not.

I'm going with a group of possibly six and we're traveling a ways, so waiting until a week before is personally not an option.

Yeah ideally I will be able to buy two together but it's not that big a deal if I can only scalp a single ticket. I already bought a flight so I'm going regardless. Don't expect to pay more than 150 bucks esp. if I wait until after kickoff.

Right, but I'm traveling with 6 people from 3 different states so I personally can't roll the dice like that, lol.
NOBODY is getting six seats together for this game unless your name is Mendoza, Hesburgh, or Bergoglio.

I had a feeling you wouldn't want to wait that long. You could try to scalp, but trying to scalp 6 tickets that are seated together will be tough.

I wasn't expecting to, I was hoping for 3 groups of 2, but separate singles would have been fine too.
