Yeah, Joe could qualify. Giving a former walk-on a captain spot would actually be good for morale and may push some of the scholarship players even more, not to mention other walk-ons.

I have been thinking about this. I think we should have five captains this year. Hell, I wouldn't even mind if we had five captains plus a game captain from each side of the ball!

Nothing says unity, helps leadership develop, and exemplifies that hard hat, blue collar, lunch bucket mentality that Brian Kelly has been working for more than bringing a strong contingent onto the field!
