Brandon Huffman (from Washington) CB'd Scott to OSU today.
I've had a horrible OSU feeling about Scott & Henning for a few months. I'll be sick if that happens. I think Gee Scott is going to be Michael Floyd 2.0.
Wish Gee could talk to Joey Galloway and see his thoughts on Urbie and OSU now . . . still am shocked more decommits have not happened to OSU. Plus the 2020 class for them looks good right now as well. Where there is smoke there is fire and OSU is blazing right now. I wouldn't want to step foot in Columbus right now as a recruit.

Michael Floyd 2.0? Those are some insane shoes to fill. Does that mean production, talent, draft status? Because I don’t think he’ll do any of that 2.0 compared to Floyd. 271 rec. 3700 yds, 37 td’s and the #13 overall pick in the draft. That’s the standard.
The Washington wide receiver landed an offer from the Irish during a trip to South Bend early in his sophomore season and has been a top target ever since. Notre Dame’s football program is impressive to Scott and his family, but what Notre Dame can offer after football is even more impressive, especially to Scott’s father, who has deep connections to the Seattle Seahawks. Former Irish star receiver Golden Tate is a family friend and Scott’s father has crossed paths with several former Notre Dame players and all have impressed him. Scott wants to get back to South Bend again and the relationships he forms with coaches will be crucial to his decision. Washington and Oregon are making strong pitches to stay in the Pacific Northwest, but Scott’s recruitment is truly national and he’s also seriously considering schools like Florida, Florida State and Ohio State. Scott visited Ohio State earlier this month and the Buckeyes may have moved to the top of the list, but the Irish should have a chance to make their own pitch again.
Biggins and Angulo to . . .pOSU. Dammit!
Bunch of pOSU crystal balls rolling in.

WR 2020 cruitin' was so promising early on, but seems more like a turd lately.
Shame on me for getting excited lol.
So let’s say Gee Scott commits to OSU. Who else did we miss out on already that makes it a turd? I must be missing something
Weird, most think post visit we’re in an even better spot for Henning. And confidence is growing with some for Jordan Johnson. I guess we’ll see.
I think Crus talked me out of thinking so highly of Henning anyway. I'd absolutely love to turn the corner on Johnson. Can't remember what it was, but I came away with a strong feeling he was leaning Arkansas. Heard in the last couple of weeks from SEC buddies that FL and UGA are now coming after him hard. They also seem to think he likes Arkansas a lot, as well as Missouri. What have you heard? Would love a little good news and step in off the turd ledge.
By all means be on the turd ledge, not here to talk you off it. Just super super early for me to even think about it.

I'm not gonna say that WR recruiting has gone south, but I wouldn't say its as promising as it was 5-6 months ago. I like Jordan Johnson and Daniel Jackson, but Gee Scott and AJ Henning were the biggest names. Notre Dame seems to have lost steam on both; although I'm not real sure what is going with Henning because his recruitment seems real quiet.
With all that being said, its way too early to get worried.
