Especially in a year when your starters are not that great. If JJ and Watts cannot get a touch with only Skowronec and McKinley ahead of them what chance do they or next years freshman when Austin comes back and Lenzy are healthy.

Lou Shimogi suggested trying Watts at safety.

In a season where we comfortably won most games and no one burns a year of eligibility, there is no reason not to have gotten a freshman WR a look or two per game.

Honestly I would not blame Kelly one but if he decides to leave ND and go to a football factory or the NFL. He has probably had it with the restrictions the ND admins have in place.

Prister says some really dumb stuff some times. Last year after he put out his film review of AK and the gist of his comments were he's appropriately ranked at like the 50th best DT nationally, which seems absurd. So I put together a list of several names that were ranked in front of him that seemed quite silly. He essentially responded like this, "I have no idea who these guys are. I don't have time to watch all these guys films. I only watch ND commits and immediate targets. But Ak is appropriately ranked". And I'm not sure he really understood how stupid that sounds.
