Sadly, I think it’s UM. Home state U wins out. Like VDP said, it’s going to suck to root against him.

I think they're also going to play the "Rashan Gary" card really hard considering they're coming in with similar size, athleticism, and hype, and he'll have just recently been drafted ~top 15.

Who knows if that lands - but they'll say "you can take the same 3 year course".

Maybe they do but there aren't a lot of similarities here. Rashan Gary was a DT that was misused at DE. He was 290 lbs. coming out of HS. McGregor is currently playing OLB and TE at 240. Rashan Gary was the #1 overall player in his class and thought of as a generational talent. While McGregor is a really good prospect, there is no where near the hype for him that there was for Gary.

I asked and the answer isn't what we wanted.

Read a lot of the reports about Gary, many people are saying there's concern because he didn't produce like he should've.

ND needs to play that card. Most of the top talent that goes to Fichigan fails to live up to potential.

100% so far that we're getting Loy'd... Actually we're getting KevLoy'd which ironically sounds like a non-stick product from DuPont.

While this seems to be the case, I have some reservations about saying 100% and that is Freeman's level of confidence. He's posted some cryptic things over the last couple of months, like there is information he's getting or things he's being told that don't jive with the flood of CB's towards UM. Until he flips to UM, I'm going to say it's 60/40 UM to ND.

I've been Fong'd and Loy'd but never Sinclair'd. Also known as Vancouver'd for out Canadian friends.

Matt Freeman is the one to watch on this recruitment, he has the goods with Braiden.... Matt still likes ND here but acknowledges it is really close. I will have some confidence we land him as long as Matt feels good

Braiden McGregor
Rylie Mills
Jordan Botelho
Aidan Keanaaina
Alex Ehrensberger

That would be an all-timer of a DLine class potentially. Not the greatest ever but just really really impressive from top to bottom.

With or without McGregor, this is going to be a very good DL class. And when combined with the 19' class, things are looking up for many years ahead.

Pretty crazy to think back on this time last year and how obsessed we were over Nana. Now he might end up being the 2nd lowest rated DE commit over 2 cycles. Elston putting in work.

Right, if we can get Rylie Millis and call it a class, I'd take it.

Wouldn't that be the German kid? Although I personally am high on him.

Good catch, that slipped past me, was thinking of (Nana, Foskey, Botelho, McGregor, Mills). Pretty bad it did, since he's hilariously ranked at 1600+, lol.

I was devastated when EJ Holland changed his CB to Texas before he committed.

He's much more cautious in throwing out CBs too. He used to be active here, nice guy. I miss him, but glad everything is going well for him.

FWIW, he's visiting UM this weekend unofficially. Unless his plans change, he will not OV to Michigan.

Does that matter? Probably not, because he's been to UM 100 times. But he won't get the "official" visit treatment he got from ND, per ISD.

Unless of course he's saving his UM OV for a game - which could totally happen.

I would imagine UM can still roll out the red official visitor carpet even if he's taking an unofficial. The only difference is UM isn't forking out the dough to bring him in.

Allen Trieu is El Numero Uno when it comes to CBing, especially Michigan recruits. He says no soup for us.

I hope Matt's early confidence turns out to be right but he's softened his stance considerably as the time's passed.

Michigan - where potential goes to die.

At least Braiden won't have to battle with high quality OL while he's at Michigan. And he can learn what it's like to lose to tOSU every. single. year.

Really wanted him in this class...

This is how I'd call it. Commits to UM and saves OV for OSU/UM at the Big House.

Update with some quotes on ISD. I believe quites are shareable, so If someone wants to share them. To me it read like the signing of the Hawaiian Drop wasnt a good thing for us, and McGregor was skeptical of that.

The way I'm making it sound is worse than the overall article sounds, but this is the part that stood out to me. Someone feel free to share the link or quotes if you can.
