Wiltfong breaks the OSU stranglehold and gives a CB for PSU.

PSU is stockpiling 5* upside DL/OLB talent:

Micah Parsons
Jason Oweh
PJ Mustipher
Brandon Smith - Committed
Adisa Issac - lean


If all those guys end up on the roster and then they add Breese. Watchout.

That would require them to recruit John Waggoner, Devin O’Rourke, George Karlaftis, Stephen Herron Jr, Adissa Isaac, or Beau Robbins but apparently some of those guys aren’t demographic fits at ND or are overrated so instead we’ll get Jamir Jones, Jonathan MacCollister, Kofi Wardlow, Ade Ogundeji, and Justin Ademilola.

Haha, so much wrong with this. A majority of the ND guys you listed are not even in the same class as the recruits that ended up elsewhere or may end up elsewhere. And the one that is, plays a different position that his counterparts. Therefore, they really have nothing to do with each other. They didn't pass on Herron Jr. because they recruited Justin Ademilola last cycle, or Jamir Jones years ago.

Not mention that you left off the top of our depth chart, lol, Khalid Kareem, D. Hayes, or Julian Okwara, you know our starting DE's who are going to be pretty darn good.

The guys I listed I wouldn't rather have than Khalid Kareem, Daelin Hayes, or Julian Okwara. That's why I didn't list them. I'm referring to all the lower rated recruits we have at DE currently and some of the recent DE prospects that the staff have decided to pass on. The staff did take some risks with some higher rated guys earlier on in Brian Kelly's tenure and they've mentioned that they are very aware now of what kind of prospect they are looking for, but I'd still like them to have more talent at the DE position. For example, Notre Dame is at 85 scholarships right now, but I think Nic Weishar could've been not asked back if ND was at 86 right now. You have 7 scholarship DE's on the roster right now and I think they could've recruited one more DE in the past cycle. Now with people mentioning that ND needs one more SDE in their 2019 class, wouldn't it be nice to have a 6'6'' 240lb Devin O'Rourke or a 6'5'' 245lb John Waggoner already on the roster, redshirting, and getting ready to develop into a SDE? I know that you don't like the fact that I'm not directly finding a 4* recruit in the same class as Jamir Jones, but I'm simply pointing out that ND has had some chances to take some pretty talented players and passed on them. This class for example has 4 4* recruits and I think it's pretty much an A or A- class from Elston where they've hit pretty strong on talent and numbers. If they continue that trend then their DLine will be filled with a ton of talent in future years and all will be well.

Micah Parsons is a headcase. He's just as likely to get kicked off the team as he is to become a star.

As far as Breese goes, think Witflong said that he's visiting PSU this weekend with his sister, and that his sister is going to start classes at PSU in the fall. If the thing with the sister is true, well it can't hurt PSU's chances.
