Agree with Crus. He does have a lot to prove. I also cannot understand why kids continue to even listen to OSU and Urbie. I question their character.

He had previously picked OSU, so this would be him changing his prediction to ND, as of today. Some rumors around 247 that OSU is in a wait and see approach regarding AJ's recruitment. This could allow ND to build a lead or advance it's lead, depending on who you talk to.

AJ Henning 2018 Visits

3/3/18: Notre Dame
4/14/18: Michigan
4/21/18: Notre Dame
6/16/18: Ohio State
6/22/18: Northwestern
6/23/18: Notre Dame
7/29/18: Miami (FL)
9/1/18: Notre Dame
9/22/18: Iowa
10/13/18: Illinois
12/15/18: Purdue

I could be missing some visits, but I’m pretty sure he visited a bunch of schools one time and kept returning to Notre Dame in the past year. In fact, he visited 4 times in less than 6 months. I think ND is at or near the top of the list for him.

agree, but ND is also under a two hour drive from his house and is the closest big school to him. we were his first big time offer IIRC, so that might explain the two early unofficials. just my opinion, but i think he might have been enamored early, but is liking the whole dating scene now. in the end, I think he marries the prom queen, not the girl he kissed first.

Not terribly surprising <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">I won’t make it to South Bend tonight due to the weather conditions, but I WILL BE BACK SOON!☘️ <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/GoIrish?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#GoIrish</a></p>— AJ H3nning (@AJHenning3) <a href="https://twitter.com/AJHenning3/status/1089984426581389313?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 28, 2019</a></blockquote>

The football recruiting office and coaching staff needs to quit sending kids to watch the basketball team lol. Nothing good will come from that experience.

If that were true, wouldn't Duke have been undefeated in football this century minus a couple of losses here and there to UK & KU?

I honestly think that is the goal and that is the 3 I have been hoping for. It’s early, but it seems like a very obtainable goal. *Fingers crossed*

I think Jordan Johnson, AJ Henning, and Jalen McMillan is a very attainable goal, but Del Alexander is giving himself some backup options too. John Humphreys I think quietly made it to campus (I thought I remember Matt Freeman saying he did), and sounds like he has a lot of interest in ND despite being a Stanford lean. Mike Wyman is a high academic kid from North Carolina that should take an unofficial this spring at some point. Maliq Carr is also a stud and has interest in the big 4 (Ohio State, Michigan, Penn St, and Notre Dame). Justin Robinson is flying up this weekend from Georgia I believe and he’s a big time recruit as well. I hope AJ Henning pops soon and Jalen McMillan loves his visit and commits after his only visit. There are a lot of RB/WR recruits that are strongly considering Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State and the schools need to make sure they are running in 2nd for some of these guys cause their favorite schools might fill up at a certain spot or recruit over them. AJ Henning might be a case where Ohio State has backed off of him to go after bigger fish for whatever reason and ND is in great position to pounce.

I think McMillan plans on waiting until the ESP, but it would be great to lock down Johnson and Henning soon. Honestly, I see us adding Johnson/Henning in the next few months, then accepting the commitment of a Humphreys/Robinson/Carr while waiting for McMillan (all while holding a spot for him). And then in the end, McMillan ends up elsewhere.
