From the article one of the ND sites did with father Carroll this week, VT sounds like they would be firmly in second place. They know all of the staff from Quinn's brother's time in Blacksburg.

I know some of you are just being facetious; but for the doomsdayers, the schools are very clearly listed in alphabetical order:

M, N, O, P, V, W

Now why did you have to bring logic into this?

Alphabetical order is a social construct.

A decent point that I certainly hope isn't true. Better football, better education, and a 99% chance of becoming a first round pick. You know what you need to do, Quinn.

I'm in MN and watch Kare 11. All local news is local, but there's a real MN pride in this particular one. I had the same thought.

Let's hope we don't lose this battle, would be a shame to see a man of his talent not be a part of our great OL tradition.

Better Minnesota than anyone we have to have over the next 4-5 years.

There are 16 CBs, all of which are in favor of ND. Serious question, when was the last time that many analysts were unanimously wrong about a recruit?

He’s the number one recruit in the state. It is big local news when he picks his college. It’s all about Quinn, zero about U of Minn

Oh how soon people forget! Notre Dame's very own Noah Boykin. 25 crystal balls and NONE of them were to Notre Dame; 64% UVA, 28% UF, 8% cloudy. One of biggest recruiting upsets in recent ND history.

Sorry, my post wasn’t sufficiently clear. I meant unanimous in the sense that all of the CBs were for one school, and a recruit committed somewhere else.

Up until last night, no one knew where Romeo Langford was going to school. He held his announcement last night in an open gym so several thousand rabid IU fans could attend. He wasn't going to do that and announce he was going to Vandy or Kansas only to get smothered with boos. Carroll is doing it on TV, but it's a local audience. I hope the CB's are spot on.

Well, that's a little different. Archie is just using some of his brothers tricks. I guess maybe Fleck could too.

Once again, this is not the Carroll situation. As you said, there was a lot of uncertainty with Langford, CB's all over the place until IU started with a little momentum in the middle of April.

ND has had 100% of the CB's for about 2 months. Has anyone had 16 predictions for one school and the kid picks another in a shocker, probably, but that is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Rarely does an announcement come as a total surprise, usually info will leak and CB's will start to flip. Just keep an eye on the CB's throughout the day.

The difference IMO is about the timing, most of Romeo's peers commited ages ago and the setting for him last night was all about him staying home. So if Quinn Carroll was doing his announcement in the same fashion late in the process then I would think he's staying home but doing it at this time IMO doesn't point to anything or anywhere.

Also Fleck took the Minnesota job as a stepping stone job to prove himself for a true top flight job so he's either gone fairly soon to a bigger and better job or he's still there and is vastly under performing.

If it wasn't for how hard Crusader works his ass off, keeping us all updated, I would neg the crap out of him.

I will let it slide just this once.
