ND sends two different coaches to his school during eval period (max amount), try and get him on campus for an unofficial at some point, and now this article where there's not even a whisper of ND and he's going to visit Ohio State this weekend. Some kids just don't want to be at ND...

Would that be because of the website it's being posted on?

No question, but I think the list of Penn State, Michigan, Iowa, Purdue, Indiana, and Ohio State were not just made up by the article, but they probably asked him which schools are coming after you or something boilerplate like that and that's what you get.

Some of these are never meant to be from the beginning. Most kids know from the beginning that a commitment to ND, Stanford, Northwestern, etc. means you will be devoting a lot more time to academics than you would at some other schools and they don't want that. Even if their grades are acceptable, they may not want the rigors of an ND education. Not sure if that's the case here or he just thinks OSU gives him the best chance to win a natty.

247 shows an unofficial to ND on June 10 and another unofficial to OSU on June 15. Kind of glad we got the earlier date this time around.

Don't think it will matter. Proably visiting simply to have the experience.

He’s a troll. To finally lock in a visit to ND and then two days before he pulls this stunt. And it’s not as if it’s the top 5 “right now”, but instead he calls it his final five. I actually hope he makes it to campus this weekend and goes to the coaching offices and finds them empty lol

Seems to prefer Big10. Purdue...LOL.

Don't be surprised if he ends up at Purdue. Brohm is getting some kids and given the improvement he made in one year without his recruits, I suspect they'll take another step forward this year.

This year should be an interesting one for Purdue. They should be 4-0 going into their first away game vs Nebraska. They have both Wiscy and OSU at home. Last year was a nice step for them, but it could have been even bigger. They hung well with Louisville and Wiscy, and should have beat Nebraska.

I would put the odds at:

75% Purdue
25% OSU

*Everything Ive heard is Purdue all the way, but Im giving OSU 25% just because if they REALLY want him, they will find a way to get him.

CB's swinging to PSU today. Wiltfong and Trieu included.

I'd be ok if Penn St was better than OSU in the near future.

In two years (or maybe even next year) they’re gonna have Bell-Moore-Wright on the field... that’s pretty good lol. That’s a video-game receiving group.

Wow, good for Purdue. Brohm wouldn't be a bad hire in the post-Kelly era. Seems like he definitely gets it done on the recruiting trail, and at a school like Purdue that's impressive.

Meanwhile in Evanston, Hunter Johnson sits in his first class of the semester and weeps like a child.

2nd team WR to start the season. That won't last.

He missed quite of bit of practice with a hamstring injury, but yes, hes gonna tear it up sooner rather than later.

Would of been nice to see him in a ND uniform. Had a day today and would of been a great focus for us this season. 9 receptions, 122 yards, 1 TD.

Averaged per game this year...
104 Yards
1.3 TDS

Are we making a poaching list yet? If not, I'm adding him first.

One more year at PU and he gone! Barring injury, he'll opt for NFL after next season. But yeah, IF the Irish could get him for that one year, I'd be all in!

I had Bell on my fantasy football team this year...he got me a lot of points. Too bad he didn't end up at ND.
