Kurelic just put in a CB for OSU for Steele, but I'm not buying it. They have Sampson James committed, are looking really strong for Noah Cain, are in a good position with Devyn Ford, and have a decent shot at Kenny McIntosh and Daniel Carter. I doubt they have the space for Steele Chambers at this point unless they strike out with tons of better prospects or they convinced him to be a LB/3rd RB in the class.

Love this guy as a 2 way prospect, he's in my OA Top 10 for ND... but he'd have to prove it to me that he's a RB over a LB.

As far as a RB only prospect? Doesn't carry the same weight.

My plan:

1. Sell the farm for Kenan Christon, name a building after him... whatever it takes.

2. Sign Kyren Williams at APB

3. Battle Miami and win for Mellusi.

Contingency plans: (besides the current offers and assuming Jirehl Brock is a no go)

Offer John Bivens. If OSU fills up, who would stand in ND's way to land the best RB in OH out of feeder Archbishop Alter?

Go after Patrick Garwo and Jamious Griffin.

How we cannot get a highly rated running back is weird. We always have a great OL, and it's Notre Dame for heavens sake. Look at the backs Michigan and OSU have gotten over last 5 years compared to ours.

RB recruiting is certainly a head-scratcher at the moment.

I assume Chambers was getting in to take the second RB spot. It will be interesting to see if Urban recruits a third and asks Chambers to play LB in the end.

Hopefully Autry Denson drops by Quincy High School in Illinois to check out Jirehl Brock, Eric Gray in Memphis, Tennessee, Rahmir Johnson, who he just followed on Twitter, from New Jersey, Patrick Garwo from PA, and John Bivens from Ohio. Time to get a new batch of offers out cause the first batch was a big 0/13 so far (maybe Christon, Jones, and Williams).

It's not Alford, its ND. Alford went after the biggest fish, and almost always had trouble reeling them in because Ohio State, Alabama, Florida, etc.

Denson is like Alford part II. All the recruits love him. He becomes like a big brother to them. Whether that means they sign or not is a different question.

denson is one of the reasons we even get in with these kids...we don't put rb in the league and rb want that pedigree....jonas gray(basically is known for his monday night game and then being late and getting cut), cierre wood(couldn't make it), cj prosise(always hurt), theo riddick(3rd down back) folston, cam mcdaniel....these aren't ringing endorsements when you look at the other top teams getting the backs
