It's going to be hard to get a kid from SF who has a Stanford offer. Hopefully, the distance will be a factor.

Will take an OV to ND for the Michigan game.

Did he move from San Francisco cause he goes to high school in Washington DC?

I think the SF was an abbreviation for his high school

Yup. Sidwell Friends. It’s where the Clintons and Obama’s sent their kids. He’s a great fit at ND, but Stanford is going to be hard to overcome for those kids. Kind of like the kid we lost from Gilman in Baltimore last year.

He should really choose on comfort level. If he’s thinking medicine/business and football, ND is just as good as Stanford. Unless you are some kind of genius, Stanford isnt going to do anything ND can’t, and he’ll have all the same opportunities in graduate school. And even if you are a genius, you don’t have time for that stuff if you are playing football. (The same doesn’t go for every school, since the school actually has to let you take academics seriously)

But I’m not getting my hopes up. I don’t think he’s visited Stanford yet, and a SF kid is going to feel really comfortable in that godless place.

With that, I think we'll have a serious shot even with the Cardinal/Tree involved. He'll be comparing them against "something special at Notre Dame".

Sure would be nice for Mama to be able to easily see a number of his games per year by jumping in the car and taking short drive or a quick 1 hr flight. A lot of ND opponents relatively close to DC.

Thank you ACC.

Nana Asiedu, their big tackle form last year's class, has a heart condition where he cannot play now. So he has gone the route of David Adams. Therefore, another spot just opened up. Plus their current line sucks so I wouldn't be surprised if anyone from this year or last year's class got some first team reps.

If I were ND, I'd argue that this is all fine and dandy if you are a RB or WR, but getting on the field early as a raw OT is not a great experience and does not serve much purpose.

Well...a good lesson in humility serves a purpose. Ha. Anyway, he could get beat up (embarrassed) in practice or beat up in games.

Try explaining that to an 18 year old who's dreams start with starting as a true frosh in college.

In the picture on the right? Yes.

He looks 5-11 somehow doesn't he?

Yeah. Either way it does't matter because he is going to Stanford. He would be a frosh when Sarrell and Little are starting Juniors. Best case is he starts at Guard as a freshman. He should start at tackle as a Sophomore because at least 1 of them is going to the NFL early.

He'll redshirt at Stanford (IF that's where he ends up). They'll have Little, Sarrell and Hamilton all there next year. They are stacked at OG too. Their line this year is going to be as good as it gets in CFB.

I do think he'll start by '21 at the latest. If he comes to ND and Pyne/Carmody follow him in '20, there's a very real chance he's Hunter Bivin 2.0.

Obviously this picture shows he is running toward ND and away from Stanford.

I would hate to be the school that gets the last visit on that trip. He'll be tired and may not be completely dialed in while visiting.
