This is seriously a huge pickup for us. We didn't sign any corners in 17 and even with the 18 class, we must keep restocking the cupboard.
As it stands, we are going to sign the best back to back classes I can remember. No holes at any positions and adding some top talent where needed. I hope this machine keeps rolling.
And update his rankings, he's jumped into the top 200 composite.

So what happened here? I thought the dream school curse only happened at Notre Dame?

Yeah, thats my question though? I'm certainly not mad that USC isn't in it at this point. But why aren't they? A Cali kid and USC is his dream school? That almost never means good news for ND. Glad this one might be different though.
Notre Dame always offers a couple kids a cycle and Notre Dame is their "dream school", but they seem to go elsewhere. "Dream school" is like the kiss of death for Notre Dame.
USC went pretty dang hard on Mykael Wright and took the lead in his CB graph for a fleeting moment, they got Chris Steele, the reeled in Max Williams, and were/maybe still are going hard after Trent McDuffie and I think Isaiah Rutherford was lower on their list than all of those guys which means they probably didn’t recruit him all that hard for a while. They could/might be now, but ground work on the trail is laid for months and months for decisions to be made.
