With the beating he took tonight, he may be able to make an additional necklace with his own bones. Wasn't great for a lot of the night, but he was ice on that last drive. Sold out big time for that first down.

Last drive was redemption for a pretty sub-par game up to that point. Glad he showed out at the end, but that was an ugly win.

Tough night with WRs out and so many drops, and so much pressure. Anyway, seeing Sam care more about checking on the opposing QB than some silly post game interview was the highlight of my game night. Similar to him waiting for the band to finish the other game. On field performance team wise has been rough for a week, but anyway

Sure but Duke was blitzing in his face all night and his best available WR was a true freshman. Sam did OK.

Sam’s most recent IG post is so good. Kid is having a blast at ND. Who ever said he looked disinterested in the game thread Saturday can get the fuck out.
He looks like he's enjoying himself and embracing the role he's been given. Good vibes. I like the dude.

Laughed out loud when I opened the comments and saw Audric w/ “I love Sam Hartman!!!” up top.

Sam played like a guy with no trust in his team.
Not his fault that he basically was playing on wake Forrest (with worse WRs) again last night.
Hard for me to critique him too much.

I feel badly for Sam. He comes in expecting one offense and instead gets amateur hour with Parker. He at times looks dejected as if he knows this offense is a joke
At the same time he needs to learn to throw the ball away instead of holding onto it.

Just a thought… It would be an unpopular move to many, but starting Minchey or Angeli after the USC game (if we lose) could be what’s best for the future. Also, I’d play Bowen, Ziegler, Jagusah, Vernon, and James. Sam could focus on the draft and finish up his career vs USC, assuming a loss. With a win I think you play him all season and shoot for 10-2. He’s already played as much football as Tom Brady. He’s not going to show anything we haven’t seen. He risks injury only. I know Freeman wants to go 10-2, but if we get thumped by USC, what’s the point in playing Hartman? What does that due for the development of the team and preparation for TAMU?

Sam seemed to be upset with himself last night after his first interception, I noticed when they showed him on the sidelines he mostly sat by himself. At one point one of the lineman came up to him.

I think Sam wants to win and he has put himself out there for the offense; Sam needs some support on offense.
