Added a key ND follow since his Opening Chicago performance. Actually an Indiana kid who goes across the river to play at KY's best football program.

Ran a 4.33 / 40, the fastest 40 at the Opening's so far, somehow faster than Anthony Schwartz. Sparq score was 133 which is the second highest behind Christian Morgan's 144.

Had to sit out most of last season because of a transfer rule. In 4 games he had:

20 rec ... 464 yds ... 10 TD's.

Since I didn't get Damian Alloway or Jamire Calvin for my future Slot/PR/KR, I'm requesting this fellow Hoosier.

Got a Georgia offer today. If they think he's good enough to take over for McKenzie, I think he's good enough to do the same for Sanders.

Just a 5 minute drive across the Sherman Minton Bridge taking him from New Albany to Louisville. Grew up a Louisville sports fan so his family may actually be from across the river in Louisville. Quite a few Kentuckians actually live across the river in Southern Indiana where it's a little cheaper including my nephew and my cousin. They live in Indiana but consider themselves Kentuckians which is why they call the area Kentuckiana.

quicker than fast OR faster than quick?

No italics. Quicker than fast. 4.33 = blazing but his best reported time last year in 100m was an 11.20. Troy Pride was a 10.5 something.

If you understood the area you'd know he's not an Indiana kid. He's a Louisville kid.

I know the area. A large part of my family lives in Floyds Knobs now. Great Grandpa is from Fishtown down by Fort Knox. Great Grandma was from E-Town.

I understand what you're saying though, I'm a Chicago kid but I was born in Gary and didn't live in Illinois until I was 30.

Was raised in Louisville. Both sides of family are from there and many still live there. My cousin lives in Floyd Knobs. Considered part of Metro Louisville. My cousin's daughter and son-in-law live in Clarkesville. Unfortunately they made the news last night as an intruder broke into their home threatening to kill them and shot the son-in-law. He's doing well today in stable condition. They caught the bastard responsible for it.

I'm sorry.

Don't be. It's our job to feel sorry for all of you Corn Co. kids.

P.S. Sh!t holes like Gary & Michigan City are like Chicago. There's the part that you hear about on the news an from your bros in college and then there's the parts that people still love.

Gary = Miller Beach

Michigan City = Long Beach

Fortunate to have lived in both.

Been a while since they did anything in basketball. Wasn't it around '73 when they had a good team that made a run at state? Schellenberger the stud on the team?

Bunch of CBs predicting he flips from Texas to… Purdue. Which would amuse me to no end.

Brohm, Trinity grad, working the angles.

If he goes to UT he's just another really fast guy... but very short one.

At Purdue, he's the Weapon X.

Playing time is more important than the prestige of the school if he has NFL aspirations and he wouldn't be giving up much (if any) on the degree value.

Brohm and Purdue might be about to snag a big time commit here..

His old man is a coach (Qb's) at Moore's HS..

he'd be a great fit in Brohm's offense.

But seriously, don't think I've ever seen a kid de-commit from Texas to go to Purdue.

I know Drew Brees is from Texas, but he only wound up at Purdue because nobody in Texas recruited him despite Drew's dad ties to A&M and his uncle being a starting QB at Texas. Smart coaches RC Slocum and John Mackovic were. Imagine Mack Brown taking over Texas in '98 with Drew Brees as his QB and Ricky Williams as his RB. Yikes. Mack probably woulda had another ring or two.

Nice pick up for the Boilers, the kid has speed, and will be a nice fit in Brohm's hurry up offense.

When was the last time a kid committed to Purdue at an All American game?
