Announces at 3:30 I believe. All CBs have gone to A&M or Oklahoma recently. Any chance here?
If you were a stud defense recruit, would you come to ND now?

Absolutely. Playing time. Chance to compete immediately. That's what kids are looking for.
If he chooses ATM, they are going to have a crazy LB haul. They already have Marchiol and it sounds like Hines is a wrap. Add Phillips and that's filthy.
With the CB's evenly split tween OU and ATM, I'll side with Fonger's OU pick. I think it's above in this thread, they only have Levi Draper on board right now in Tier 1 LB recruits.
ND has a full house and they're good ones. If he was a real WDE, I'd have had a sad.
They are good ones, but not in his category, IMO. I like Werner and Adams, but Phillips is a notch above. He's pretty close to the "elite" category. So, I have a sad that we couldn't close this.
My opinion, Adams is elite. He can fill, hits hard and takes down carriers and has great sideline to sideline speed, sheds blocks well and all against tough competition.
I wouldn't categorize his speed at "great" or even close to that. He has a lot of good qualities but I'm not going to expect something that he isn't. He's not a speed LB. He's a box player.
I'm expecting Kuechly or Urlacher but I see a pre injury Jarrett Grace as the floor. Speed is the cherry on an MLB's sundae. Maybe the least important factor to be honest.
I just hope Adams is good enough to push Bauer outside when it's time for both to play.
Damn, why not push the kid and go for greatness aka Butkus?

Agree! This linebacker class is Fox, Spond, and Calabrese but shorterAgree on the floor, don't see that upside. Speed might be the cherry on top of a MLB's sundae, but its a major trait that sets a part, the two you referenced above and a majority of MLB's. Also, both those players have at least 2 maybe 3 inches on Adams.
My point wasn't to say that speed is an extremely important factor for MLB's, just to point out that I don't believe Adams has "great" speed.

There is no one in that class that's the athlete Pete Werner is.

I really like Warner. He will probably end up at Sam. But I would love to see him as an edge Will player.
