Watched his highlight tape w the volume on and I like the quasi Primus music he's got going in the background. Absolute take IMO.

Per 247 Martin's father said ND coaches Kelly Denbrock and Elliot made a huge push for Martin on the weekend and paid a lot of attention to him.

Pouncey stated that Martin's father and grandfather both loved ND and Loy think Martin will end up Irish

Elliot had big Iowa ties wouldn't surprise me if he was heavily involved in this recruitment.

... as in Bob Elliot???

Shouldnt that read Denbrock and BK???

Possibly. May have been a mistake but I don't think so. It said Elliot plus I think I read a while ago that he is still involved in recruiting. He always was a great recruiter. They're putting in a full court press for this kid and I agree with it personally. We badly need another WR. He's a solid possession WR that we're in need of.

I didn't think that Elliot could recruit. Or since Martin was on campus it's fair game?

He can't go on the road to recruit but when recruits come to campus he can talk to them just like anyone else can on campus.

Possession WR? I think he is more than that. I think he can be a deep threat also. Pouncey would be more of a possession WR comparing the two IMO.

Sampson interviewed Brock wright, he felt Martin and Paschal were the most likely.

MSU is fighting to get back in. Great visit to ND, positive reviews. Should be done with visits.

...Oliver Martin

"As the day went on, Martin hit his stride and was more and more productive. He found his greatest success on the day in 7-on-7 and team scrimmages as an underneath option working out of the slot, but he’s a sure-handed receiver and a fluid route-runner. Martin also does well to recognize where he can find space in the defense to get open."

Sounds like the way of Graham and Paschal.

Back, back, back, back, back...shit.

We need this kid. I think down the road we'll be in a tough spot #'s wise if we don't land a solid WR in this cycle. We'd seriously be banking on '18 WR's all panning out and I don't like that situation ONE BIT. Given no commits this cycle I'm sure we'd garner attention from kids wanting playing time but still, sounds risky.

I thought I read he planned to announce at the game. Am I remembering incorrectly?
