There's got to be a Sanford-like rising star that could Co-DC out there? We need a hot shot recruiter that can relate to the kids on that side of the ball. The 70's style porn star look with angry face ain't cutting it. Watching the Fiesta Bowl I got countless texts from Osu friends who had never seen BVG before and were ripping his look and defense bad. Was hard to disagree.

FWIW, I heard from the beginning, even before he committed officially, that he and his sister were both trying to attend ND together. It was/is a big deal for their family, especially since their grandma was part of the school. So it's not just a bunch of hot air.

Is it the full reason? Not likely. But I don't think it's being used as a convenient excuse, either. There is some truth to it.

ND can't roll over and accept any recruit's massive conditions on him coming here. I don't think admissions is to blame for his sister not getting in.

Ohio state is killing us in recruiting lately, I'm not gonna say Michigan is because I liked our 2016 class better. It's sad when ND can't even get kids with ties to the program. Kids like beak and Haskell garret from BG. I bet you the younger st brown ends up at Stanford
