Offered earlier today. 247 says Kentucky and Oklahoma lead. OU has a couple of recent CB's.

Really good looking film. Plays in 5A where P-Money and Bishop Moore were state champions.

Nice to know he is keeping count...20th?

I skip alot of the FCS and lower offers listed on Rivals. FAU is as low as I go.

*** Actually, there were 8 other reported offers on 247 and Scout. Still 2 short of the 20 including Fla A&M. I've never seen Rivals off by that much.

Super quick first step. I'd take this kid even if he ended up being a situational pass rusher. Kid has speed to get to QB.

I miss five years ago when recruits had their highlights on youtube and put actual songs over their tape instead of generic instrumentals from HUDL

Gonna go with Ka-jake-er for pronunciation of his first name until I hear otherwise

I'm gonna go with Kuh-jacque-uh-ray or the K'Alligator!

ND really stretching right now at DE.

I don't know, I like this kid's film. He knows how to get after the QB. I think he'd be a solid addition. Some younger guys probably won't know who I'm talking about, but he reminds me of Hugh Green from back in the day. Pitt DE who was second in the Heisman race. He is aggressive, athletic, and wants ball carriers to know he was there -- he sticks some dudes in his highlights. What's not to like, the number of stars?

Why? Because he doesn't have 4 or 5 stars? We really need to get off of this star mentality. The stars are based as much on camp attendance/performance as it is on how they play the game. If the staff has evaluated him and feel that he would be a good fit, especially considering where we seem to stand with Beal, some of the other DE's recently offered and maybe Kaindoh, then the kid should be welcomed, as he must be the type of player that the staff thinks can contribute. I doubt that they are stretching, considering it is still May!!

when you don't get the 5 star guys the rest of your DE recruiting has to be project players

20 isn't unusual for us. From a number of posts by recruits over the years, it appears we offer multiple times to some kids. I'm just glad they only accept one instead of all 20. Fielding a team would be a bitch.

“When coach VanGorder offered me, he told me that Notre Dame means business on and off the field,” said Daley. “He said it’s a legendary school. I just grew pretty interested in them at that point.”

“Just say I get hurt in college, God forbid, I’ll still have that Notre Dame degree behind me,” said Daley. “That’ll be a huge accomplishment. It’s like going to the school I’m at now, which is the eight best school academically in the nation.”

close friends w/ Studstill, know Coney and is cousins w/ Amari Carter

the plan is for him to go to the same school as Carter

If Notre Dame was in W. Palm Beach... I believe they would win the NC every year.

Not sure whats not to like here. Outside of not having refined pass rush moves/technique, very few do at this stage. He's a quick twitch edge rusher. Athletically its a no brainer for me. Doesn't have ideal size but good enough for it not be a problem, 6-3 range. Pretty insane states as a Junior. Shows a really good motor on film. And sounds like he's a fit.

77 tackles, 36 tackles for loss, 12 sacks and two forced fumbles.

When Tiller was at Purdue, he always had a couple of undersized DE's that created all types of match-up problems. Sean Phillips is one that comes to mind.

I'm with you... if ND wants a "project" DE, skip the yearly Michigan pick and go get one who has 36 TFL and plays in the same HS division as American Heritage, Bishop Moore (P$) and Clay HS where RB offer Colin Wilson is.

I mean that highlight film of his is 11:35 of behind the line of scrimmage action. That's nearly impossible to compile playing in Montana let alone 5A Miami Metro.
