Curious what the protocol is regarding testing. Given we've seen false positives in the process, do the players get re-tested same day or maybe the next day? Are the results simply set in stone and there is no flexibility around the process? I understand Kofi's position on the depth chart, but generally, you'd hate for a kid to have to sit when all the while his test was a false positive. Anyone know something about these protocols?

False positives are much more rare than false negatives. You can see false positives in the convalescent phase. This is believed to be secondary to bits of rna left over from the infection. I suspect he is a bit run down from the disease and needs recoop

3 career games. DL is a tough nut to crack and that's good for the team. Let them compete and play the best. Hopefully he can go somewhere and find playing time.

Got buried on the depth chart. Best of luck to him.

Going to be very interesting "counting scholarships" with the unprecedented amount of players that may be able to come back next year for a bonus year

There are no limits next year is how I understand it. We have to be back to normal in 2022 (which Wardlow doesn't effect), but next year should be the wild west. I'm pretty sure they also allow transfers for those players with the extra year, so we can basically pick up some grad transfers without any scholarship implications.

I read he is going to graduate with his degree. Kid hopped on late and probably passed up an opportunity for more playing time by doing so. Leaves with a degree from ND and an opportunity to start his graduate degree while playing some football.
