Yes, Alaska. Moved to Oregon briefly to play his senior year of HS football and then back to Alaska.

I am enamored with this kid. He moves like he is 270 lbs. I promise you this kid will be playing in the NFL.

Hmmm. Despite his rankings, he has pretty darned good film, size and offers. I'm just wondering if Cage is out and concerned about having too many project DT' stacking up (Dew-Treadway, Tiassum, Mokwuah....)

Pili made a big move when he left Alaska to move to Portland with family and enrolled at Westview. He arrived in Oregon without any offers. Now, the rising three-star has a handful of Pac-12 offers and more schools close to offering. It didn’t take long for Oregon State to be impressed by him- the Beavers offered him after seeing him in person in September. Then came an offer from Colorado. October saw USC and UCLA, who don’t typically recruit Oregon, offer him and UCF, which has former Oregon offensive coordinator Scott Frost at the helm, also offered. And Pili is also talking with a handful of other Pac-12 schools like Arizona State, Oregon and Washington. In fact, it was at the Huskies Rising Stars and Dirt Dawg Camps that Pili first got on the radar and knew a move would be his best chance at offers. While Washington didn’t offer him that weekend, because of limited numbers, they were impressed with his performance and that confidence has carried over for Pili. And the Huskies could end up offering Pili, which would put them in a great spot.

Already had officials to Oregon State and USC (visited for Notre Dame game). Scheduled visits to Washington and Ole Miss. Had previously said he was trying to decided between Colorado or UCLA for the final official visit.

Plans to announce on National Signing Day.

On DT Brandon Pili...

we told him not to come and loy even had said he wasn't signing w/ ND anyways so why even have him come.....this was an offer sent out before elko...as loy indicated read that how you want but pretty telling....elko has some guys he is targeting

Yea, I think he's quite the prospect as well. A little disappointed we didn't pursue further but understand why. Not sure it would've made a difference anyway.
