Had a top 12 then ND offered. He will come out with a top 8 or so and ND will make it. Visiting July 27th and will OV. Had the #4 SPARQ score today

Here is the skinny on McCulloch from Keith :

Houston linebacker Jeffrey McColloch opened some eyes when he made the SPARQ testing finals. With a 38-inch vertical and a 4.0 agility time, the 4-star linebacker showed some serious explosiveness along with a 230-pound frame. He also revealed that head coach Brian Kelly has taken on some of the recruiting duties with him.

“I talk to the head coach pretty much every day,” McCulloch told Rivals.

He’ll also make a trip to South Bend later this month, family in tow.

Not as big but reminds me a lot of Courtney Upshaw. Not the fastest but is big and physical as all hell. Maybe more like a Shembo. May be a better scheme fit elsewhere considering BVG generally goes for lighter, faster LB's but goddamn you take a kid like this 100% of the time. Absolute animal.

Oh yes please and thank you very much!!!! Would love to land this kid somehow and someway!!!! Total beast!!! Glad our coaching staff, especially Coach Kelly is giving him some love!

For me I'd give Betiku the edge based on need. I said this awhile ago but I don't view DE as big of a need in this class as others as I don't think there are that many DE's that are going to come in right away and take time from our current DE's on the roster. Betiku is one of those guys. He's still raw but is getting better quickly and he's athletic/strong enough to make up for it.

same here...but something i read yesterday really peeked my interest...it was noted that he received some instruction and then on his next rep did EXACTLY what he was shown and won the rep...sounds like he is open to teaching and applying it
