I don't mean to complain, but is there a reason you post videos of recruits we're no longer involved with? It just gives me false hope that we're back in it and then it's an inevitable let down when I realize it's a high school vid. I'm sure most people could find these vids themselves if they wanted to keep tabs on kids that have already said no to us.

I only speak for myself but I think its a good idea as I like watching tape of players. Maybe try and focus, if possible, on guys we may have more of a shot with.

Creating general threads would defeat the purpose of someone looking at stuff about a specific prospect.

I'm not against posting vids of recruits, I would just prefer that we limit it to guys we're still somewhat in play with. I understand dublin's interest in local kids, but they're not local for many of us.

I do understand the anti-bump, get-my-hopes-up mentality, but I just worry about beginning to draw crazy lines in what can and can't be posted in profiles.

I understand, but bumps are inevitable, and I wouldn't want posters feeling like they shouldn't post information that might be of interest to others. It would be like outlawing thread bumps about a guy committing to another school. Yeah, it sucks, just like being teased by a highlight-video thread-bump, but it's still information that people will look for in that profile regardless.
