Great article from the Bowling Green Daily News with lots of direct quotes from Sanford talking about what he saw in Book as a recruit etc etc.

Sanford staying close to Wimbush? Odds that Wimbush heads to WKU for his final year of elgibility?
81%. That is all
glad he had this game today, he will learn a lot in the film room I think
He will. I'm not being sarcastic when I say this. Seriously.
He was 81%, and got better on the long ball. I'd bet he picks the 19% a part in films and does better in two weeks. I also think Long will also learn to play better against Narduzzi, and also learn to stop forcing too many plays that have not historically worked, or are not the strength of his current QB.
But honestly what’s being missed isn’t the 19%. It’s the missed reads, moving into pressure, etc. he wasn’t 81% good today and it wasn’t the 19% that hurt us. It was taking sacks or moving into pressure when not needed. Running when his hot routes were open.
And the biggest one one, which is very very bizarre, he had a habit of staring down the play side opposite of the blitz (CB/S). You are taught to do the opposite. Very weird.
Not saying he didn't do some of that. I do think you are diminishing the 81%. I also think you are minimizing the OL shit show that he had to play with.
You should also be all over our RBs for sucking and averaging a paltry amount (if the OL didn't suck). Truth is, Narduzzi called a great game. Coverage was exceptional (as praised all night by the announcers). And the exotic, and standard blitzes he threw at us F'd our OL up beyond belief.
Sure, Book missed some stuff, but you're one of the few not pounding the OL or playcalling, or giving Narduzzi credit for calling a great coverage and blitz game.
Book will learn from his failings, but I think the OL, and Long, will learn as much or more.
Because I understand what’s going on. When the defense overloads a blitz, brings a CB off the edge , etc. there are plays to be made. It’s not always the OL’s fault when they are outmanned. Sorry but it’s not that difficult to get. Unless you can’t get off the Book does no wrong train. If we listed reasons for today it’s certainly Book at 1. ST’s at 2. OL at 3.
There is always a game within a game that most are missing here. Book completely missed his reads for 3 qtrs. Of football. Even he knows that
Sorry man, when every comment you make is 80% comp pct. it means your missing it. He had a bad game. EVERYONE realizes that. Coaches, Book, everyone. Gotta get off this he does no wrong train. It’s not reality.
If you could re-watch the game with no bias, you’d see it. It was really fucking bad.
Saying he wasn’t perfect isn’t what happened. He was downright bad today. I believe in the kid but we have to be realistic about what just happened. This is exactly what we crucified Wimbush for. Bad reads, not it seeing the field, bailing too early.
He had a QBR of 56 against a shitty defense. If you’re an apologist for that performance, you don’t know football.
He did play a good 4th quarter, but the first 3 were awful and he would tell you that himself.

Sorry that’s just not reality. Love ya buddy, all ND Fans here but not even close. Completing passes but the wrong passes doesn’t make it a good game. Gotta get off that comp pct.
There is entire game above that, that you’re clearly missing. Like every other route being run. This is sounding very bizarre.
Yeah Sam Bradford set the completion% record in 2016 but trust me, he was not a world beater that year.Sorry that’s just not reality. Love ya buddy, all ND Fans here but not even close. Completing passes but the wrong passes doesn’t make it a good game. Gotta get off that comp pct.
