That is an awesome crop for 2016. The way to early look ahead. Henry, Hausmann, Mack, Robertson, Tucky, Kraemer, and Eichenberg. Yikes, that is what Wiltfong is referring to. We shall see if it plays out.

yeah i am on the wait and see plan...i love to get excited; however when you look back at the old threads of high caliber stars being really interested in ND....never seems to end that way

2010 and 2012 were particularly bad years for this.

2016 Indiana wide receiver Austin Mack is racking the stats already in 2014 and looks to continue that trend over the next few weeks. In week two, Mack reeled in 221 yards receiving to go along with three touchdowns in a Bishop Luers 58-7 win.
“I think I did reasonably well against the other team, but the next two games should be good games for me stats wise,” he said. “We got a few teams coming up that got us pretty bad last year, so it would be nice to get them back this year. We also play Bishop Hartley (Ohio). The last time we were out there we got smacked up pretty bad so we are looking forward to getting out to Columbus.”
On September 19th, the four-star prospect is looking forward to playing his good friend and 2016 Notre Dame recruit Auston Robertson when Bishop Luers takes on Wayne High School.
“We have a good little matchup and rivalry going on between us,” Mack said laughing. “It’s always good to compete against him and will be really fun. They got some talent on that roster. Half their team are like ironmen and go all game. I think we are going to try and keep them on the field as long as possible and wear them out.”
With Robertson and Mack being good friends off and on the field, Mack says he wants to continue building relationships this weekend when he visits Notre Dame.
“It’s always fun to make new relationships with guys that you could be playing or will play in the future,” he explained. “That is something I am really looking forward to do this weekend.”
Robertson has named Notre Dame his early leader and Mack didn’t rule out playing with Robertson in college, but he stressed it would have to be the right choice for both of them.

I definitely want to play with Auston Robertson,” said Mack. “We want to play together and it will just come down to if it’s a right fit for both of us.”
Being from the same area and training at AWP Performance alongside current Irish players Jaylon Smith and Drue Tranquill, one might think they might be on Mack to choose the Irish, but it’s the opposite.
“They are not recruiting me much,” Mack explained. “Jaylon is a mentor for me because he went through the same process I am now. He doesn’t want to put a lot of stress on me with ‘Notre Dame this, Notre Dame that.’ He wants me to find the best fit for me. Notre Dame was the best fit for him, especially when the guy in front of him went down with an injury and it was a great fit for him education-wise. He wants me to find the perfect fit for me.”

The 6-foot-2, 204-pounder has a busy schedule this fall visiting schools and Notre Dame will get him on campus twice.
“I will be at the Stanford game in South Bend,
Ohio State when they play Cincinnati, Michigan for Penn State, then Ohio State again when they play Michigan at the end of the year and I will probably go to the Michigan State-Ohio State game or the Michigan State-Michigan game,” Mack said. “I was thinking about getting down to Tennessee but I don’t think I am going down there this fall.”
This weekend will be a big visit for Mack, but he is focused on just enjoying the atmosphere in South Bend with his coach and some friends.

That's a nice list! Hope Tucky gets an offer this weekend and I hope we get a couple commits. A W would make that a lot more likely!

Scout: Bo Peek, a 2016 DT from FL, will visit this weekend. ND said he is very high on their list.

Peek Eyes Weekend Journey to South Bend

My own wishful thinking but I hope Nicco comes to the game and Jones joins him again. For the hell of it, ya know.

Anna just tweeted that a '15 4-star QB committed elsewhere is visiting this weekend. Don't have a subscription, any one know who?

EDIT: It's Brandon Wimbush, and he's taking his official.
