Considering heading over to this game Friday night. Should be a wild scene. If I make it over I'll report back!
Jamabo sprained his ankle against Hebron, and playing this Friday against Allen may be a game day decision. Caught last Thursday's Cedar Hill/DeSoto slugfest on ESPN, but I don't think this Halloween contest will be televised.

Ha.. I have always thought this same thing about Dots. Even his insults are monotone and bizarre. He's the Slingblade of IE.

There were these two fellars standin' on a bridge, a-goin' to the bathroom. One fellar said, "The water's cold" and the other fellar said, "The water's deep". I believe one fella come from Arkansas.

Soso just took it to the house from 50+ out on Allen first drive of the game. He had 4 carries for about 70 yds on the first drive...showed break away speed running away from a very fast Allen defense on the TD

Just took a screen 50+ yards to the house on 3rd and 9. Made everybody else on the field look like they were in slow motion...

Wow. I know Allen is a national power but 49 in the first half against a good Plano West team is impressive. If Soso can still put up insane numbers against a team like Allen, which is clearly more talented than his Plano team, that says a lot. Really hope we can land him...I think he's a perfect fit for our offense.

Again, really appreciate the updates. Keep em coming if you can.

I don't see who is our main competition. A&M got in it late, and their current downward spiral is a definite turn off. UCLA is on a similar path. Is there really anybody else anywhere near us at this point?

I left with 9 minutes left in the 4th...Soso had probably close to 300 yds of total offense and 6 total TDs. Also had a key fumble inside his own 20 though and fumbled out of bounds once and a third time that was ruled down but was close...ball security may be an issue, but this kids a hell of a runner...he's REALLY fast but glides more ala Cierre Wood...very smooth runner.

Nope, nobody is even close to us. I have no idea why he hasn't committed already. Huge lock to ND at this point, just like Hilliard and Cornell. No way we don't get this kid

Honestly, where do you get your info from because it's never even remotely close to accurate? Is it just made up?

FWIW, this is a 50/50 battle with ND/UCLA per everybody that has spoken to him or his family.

Also worth mentioning, this kid is VERY skinny right now. Has very narrow hips, a pint sized waistline and thin legs. Definitely needs some time in the weight room.

There was a lot of talk over the summer that some thought his body was better suited for WR than the pounding an RB takes. Until that actually becomes a factor I'm not going to think about it too much but I agree that it needs to be addressed before he has too many carries in college.

Lucci, sometimes I just don't get you. You constantly berate my comments, yet you come up with simply more delusional responses. Just because my comments have pro-ND elements, suddenly that makes them delusional and invalid? Get outta here. I can easily say the same thing about yours. And UCLA? 50/50? And you call me delusional? Read between the freakin' lines man. It hasn't been 50/50 for MONTHS. It's more like 90/10 AT BEST. "Sorry" man, but ND is out front by a very large margin. Unless UCLA or A&M pull of a Seabiscuit-esque comeback, he's Irish. Not fact, but I followed his recruitment enough to know where ND stands and the way UCLA and A&M have, and it's easy to see that ND stands out far beyond either of those two.

Wow...my God. I don't even know what to say anymore. You and Lucci have a knack to find even the tiniest bit of pessimism and blow it up to epic proportions. Soso has been leaning Irish for some time now, and UCLA and A&M current collapses are further indication that they're trending away, not towards. Sorry that I put two and two together and realized that ND winning + the academics/atmosphere of ND = a perfect fit.

Dude, come on. Lucky has been one of the most solid reporters of information on this board ever since he's been here. Jamabo may end up at ND, but I think in this case I can speak for 99.99% of this board and say that Lucky's info is more trustworthy than yours.

Congrats on receiving my 2nd ever neg rep.

According to ISD, people in Soso's corner want him to end his recruitment already and pick ND and they also say the family is in Notre Dame's corner.

Back in the Saddle Again

Back in the Saddle Again

Soso was a game day decision for Plano West. Last week, sprained his ankle against Hebron.
Impressive statistics for Jamabo - 35 rushes for 243 yards, 3 receptions for 62, 6 scores and one lost fumble. And, on the other side of the ball for Allen - Kyler Murray 20-29 passing for five scores, 12 for 89 rushing for two. Jalen Guyton contributed also - 7 receptions for 210 yards and two scores. But Friday night belonged to Allen - final score 70-41 Texas high school football can be quite entertaining. Do fans even bother to sit down!

Per Rivals interview,

Not close to a decision. Considering OV's to Texas AM, Ole Miss, Baylor, and Oregon. This kid's quite the expressive personality so TIFWIW because the reporter only asked about ND, but he raved about his visit to ND.

Claims no leader and will decide after officials and season but before NSD. His personality is an A+ and it'd really hurt to miss out on this one after all of the work the staff has put in. It feels like Justin Hilliard 2.0 in that sense, and I hope the staff doesn't miss this time.

NDSean - I might be the only one that defends you on here, so hopefully you respect my opinion. Calling out LuckyLucci makes no sense. He knows more about recruiting than probably anyone on this site (besides me).
