He's very raw, but his combo of brute strength, aggressiveness and speed is the real fucking deal.

Was DL MVP at RCS in Detroit. Watched the video from that event and he was pretty darn good. Measured 6'3 303, that seems a little tall from looking at the video. Very quick get off, nice feet, and good lateral movements for a kid that size.

Looks like he played my highschool. If he played my high school, plus Jay Hayes school, and I think someone said Ignatius from Cleveland as well, that's one tough schedule for a team from Canada.

Loy reporting that a source told him he doesn't want to go too far from home. Michigan State will be a major player but ND will be in the mix as well.

I expect IE's Northern Faction to fully mobilize and start putting in work.

I know very little about Canadian football, do teams usually play American teams due to lack of competition in Canada?

some schools in southern canada (ontario mainly) play american football (11 men) instead of canadian football (12 men). they generally will play american high schools along with other canadian ones that also play american football.

Edit: in BC all HS teams play american football

Wait, you can have 12 players on the field in Canadian football? I had no idea. Crazyness

The U is in pursuit as well:

HS in Quebec has always been 11 men. Some of the best HS football in the country is played right here. The game has really develop in the past 10 years. Laval university, which is a french speaking university, is 8-1 in the national championship game since 1999. It's the been them and the rest for the last decade. Not saying it's Texas here, but there are a few guys that could easily play D1 ball that never get noticed.

a youth team from Greendell Falcons in Winnipeg came over to Ireland last year and took on the Irish Under20 national team. From what I gathered they play mostly 11 men rules but send alot of kids into the CFL

Yup. The 12 men thing usually starts at the University level. I'm not a big fan personally, but it is what it is.
