I too love the two Junior days. I hope we can grab an early commit or two and create some momentum, especially off of the Neal commitment. Anything to slow down Hoke. Love the way this staff works!

So obviously no real chance of snagging Jaylon or Ty Isaac this upcomming Saturday.... what do people think about Bivin and Lisle? Any chance we get either?

Looking for something to get excited about since even lacrosse these days is making me want to take up lunch time drinking.

Same here. A couple of commits would be nice to grab that ever elusive "momentum" on the recruiting trail.

is the small list for this saturday due to the staff perhaps wanting to give these guys more individual attention?? or is it simply lack of interest?

thoughts??

March 24th is the main junior day and there is a much bigger list for that. And yes, this will allow the coaches more individual attention on four really important blue chip prospects.

Which is a great idea, in my opinion. I love the way that this staff learns and evolves from year to year in recruiting. Something we haven't seen around these parts in some time. Hopefully with that kind of focus by the staff this weekend we see some commits.

we picked a very good group of 4 to really focus on imo as well.

Yeah, and it's actually up to 6 now.

Jacob Matuska, who is a TE/OL/DE (similar style prospect to Troy Niklas where people go "where do you put this guy?"), will be visiting. He's a 92 rating on 247.

Robert Foster, a WR who is a 98 rating 5:s: on 247, will also be visiting. So there is going to be a lot of elite talent on campus.

JimmyMac and others, once they are on campus, construct a large wall around it so they can not leave.

So Foster switched the date he is attending? OP has him slated for the second JD. Now the 1st. With the company that will be there I'll take it. I wouldn't mind if Elmer switched to the first JD now too to talk with these guys. Positive vibes...(not on a commitment but just on having a better chance)

Malik Zaire will visit March 24 per II.

IMO Aaron Bailey is better, but not by much.

If Matuska has the same kind of talent as Niklas, get him now. I have a feeling that the kid will be the biggest sleeper of next year. Something about his size and athleticism screams beast. I have no clue how that kid wasn't a 5 star, even more elite recruit coming out of high school - maybe because no one had a clue what position he would be playing? I've heard so many rave reviews about Niklas that anytime I hear a prospect compared to him I get excited.

As for Foster, he's going to be here for the first, smaller junior day too? That's HUGE. I'm aware he's a supposed OSU lean, but the ND campus has changed more prospects' minds than I can remember. Can't wait.

Read a teaser somewhere (I think Rivals, but couldn't read the whole article) that 11 recruits were coming this weekend. Anyone know who else besides the ones listed on page 1?

Hoping to get an offer. Not sure if we have a profile on him. He is lowly rated by 247.
