Pickrington North is really good at football, I'll see if we recruit him more, some of his stuff.

Apparently being recruited as a CB and that's what he'll work out at for camp. I just got around to watching some film of him and I guess I can see it. He seems to have a very good first cut as a RB, which usually translates into the ability to break on the ball... somewhere between 5'11" and 6' and 185-190.... decent (not blinding) speed....

Will be interesting to watch this play out. I think he has the ability to earn a scholarship at either position or as a "swing" guy.

Got some size to him. Let's see what the staff thinks this week. Seems to like contact, which can't hurt.

Looking at him at CB shows the staff is in no hurry to sign a RB in this class

Poor man's Zeke Elliott?

Yeah, although I wouldn't say "poor man's"... I just watched Elliot's film again and he *might* have a tiny bit more top end speed... but Godwin does seem to cut harder and looks stockier/more physical on the field (and shorter)....

for now, I'd call him Elliot with less exposure.

Per ISD there is probably a greater than 50% chance he lands an offer.... when I'm not so sure. 247 seems to think that we'll take up to 4 DBs but that we want a lockdown corner (i.e. a guy like Alexander) for the 3rd and a S-CB flexible sort of guy if we take a 4th.

If I had to guess, I'd put my money on us probably missing here as we try to close with prospects ranked higher on our board... whether that comes back to bite us or not I don't know. But I sure do like Godwin's flexibility to play either RB or CB.

If we do take 4 corners, I totally see Devin Butler as that S-CB hybrid player.
