Offered per ISD/BGI.

“He’s got a great body on him,” Burgos said. “He’s 6 feet, weighs 190 pounds. He runs well. He has a great personality. He’s a 3.0 student. An excellent kid all of the way around. Great morals, just a great young man to be around. It’s been a pleasure to coach him. There’s not too many times you get a kid who has everything so focused and has great character.”

He has smooth quick movements. He's elusive without losing much speed. Looks to have good size and good vision.

Depending on how well he tackles, I could see him at safety very easily.

Scout.com: Maryland WR Planning Fall Visit

Franklin High (Reisterstown, Md.) three-star receiver Ian Thomas is being recruited the hardest by four schools, including Notre Dame, and he spoke to IrishEyes.com about his recruitment, what he knows about the Irish, who is in his ear about them and why he plans on making an official visit to South Bend, Ind., in the fall.

This kid is a little over 2 hours away from where i live. Might have to try and catch a game.

Will take an offical to South Bend. offered by Auburn today will also visit Stanford. Was told ND is taking 4 wr's this class first four to commit are in. And i know for everyone out there who loves to dream like i do and add DGB in the mix. i am sure if he wanted to come it would be five.

Sounds more and more like GAIII's move was permanent.

the only way it's permanent is if he can make the move and be a playmaker. if we miss at rb, boy it will be a mess. both positions do need playmakers after this season.

I know GB has mentioned this guy a couple of times. And he does look good. Projected as a slot, right?

Looks like he is coming for the USF game. Iowa, Maryland, Notre Dame, Rutgers, Stanford and Vanderbilt are his top 6. Wants to make a commitment in September. Probaly my favorite WR prospect.

I assume that you like DGB better than all three though, correct?

Some people on this board might not like me saying this but IMO the ship has sailed with DGB and i mention Cyrus Jones, and Ian Thomas cause i believe we have a legit shot with both those guys. DGB is the best but from what we can get i like Cyrus Jones and Ian Thomas more if that makes any sense.

Love this kid's tape. Explosive, fast, shifty. Fits the mold of a Kelly slot receiver.

Unfortunately I think you are correct. :(

I imagine that's why he isn't coming for the USC game. lol

Anyways, a good/great showing against USF may just land us this stud. Awesome.

Personally, I'd throw Amara Darboh in there as well- though he may be more of a boundary guy than either Thomas or Jones.

As far as the ship sailing, I would agree unless Crist plays lights out and our passing game gets a lot of hype. In that case, all bets would be off. Crist is a 5 star in the second year of a system and Coach Kelly seems to have mellowed out a little- stranger things have certainly happened.

I am actually in the boat that says the ship is not sailed on DGB nor Kiel. It's a long time until signing day and the top player's recruiting stories ALWAYS end up long and twisty.

I mean, who saw Seantrel's story going the way it did?

If we play awesome in fall, and we put he full court press on a recruit, then we always have a shot. I think people put way too much "analysis" on the twiitter feeds of 17 year old kids. No one on this board or any other can crawl inside a recruit's mind, so until that day comes, all of our conversations are no more than speculation.

and again.... we are Notre Dame... we always have a puncher's chance.
