Right, I prefer not to post rumors as fact so I was just looking for some confirmation.

Can't confirm premium info on here until it goes public. Those staff members make their living selling subscriptions based upon having information that is premium that people want, thus by giving out a confirmation you are compromising their ability to achieve their maximum income. If you want confirmation immediately you would have to purchase a subscription, or wait until it becomes public knowledge. Not attacking you here my friend, but I just wanted to make that clear.

Update- 247 is now reporting he will take an unofficial visit on friday

Kiel couldn't make it either today b/c of weather, per ISD. But he will reschedule, probably to next weekend.

Maybe they should consider having a it a few weeks later going forward. Seems like a lot of conflicts with basketball games and throw the weather in the mix it seems like much of the purpose is being undermined.

Troy Watson couldnt make it today but said that Notre Dame is still his favorite. He's already been on campus a few times.

A very well connected poster on II said this:

Voltz's visit was fantastic. We have a good shot.

Baratti is loving it, too, apparently. Real impressed despite weather shock from Houston.

Denman had a very good visit and was very happy with the offer. PSU has lead for awhile, but we may be in it now.

McGowan seemed to really like it, too, despite not getting an offer yet.

Odenigbo expected the offer, but was thrilled to get it regardless. We'll see how it plays out against the OSU offer.

Some guys are at the hoops game, and many others on the road home. Stuff will happen as it happens. Same as ever for ND in February. Staff is very pleased with where recruiting stands right now -- very early in the game.

Voltz is a guy I thought we had a good shot at early in the process. I think he will be one of he first members of this class.

I haven't seen anything on Shane Callahan. He is another offensive lineman I like ND's chances with early. Anyone heard anything about Shane?

Greg McMullen also recieved an offer today after a visit that he said he was "blown away" by.

Very optimistic about this class. The vibe seems very good for OL and DL recruits... except for maybe at NT. Also love how it appears we have a really good shot with guys like DGB, Darby, Kiel and Marshall. Going to be really interested to see how this plays out with limited spots.

I think it will be a slow developing class with some elite talent. I like our chances with guys like:

Keith Marshall
Noah Spence
Gunner Kiel

Also keep in mind that Ohio State has very limited numbers this year and the talent in the state of Ohio is deep again. Also, if the sanctions hold up for USC, we can attack Cali with full force for guys like Armstead. The Mid-West seems to be pretty loaded so I'm very excited for this class.
