they also do a lot of behind the scene stuff in getting to know a recruit because u certainly don't want someone who has past issues off the field etc and u can't always find out about people in matter of days...NOT IN THIS CASE but overall...DON'T WORRY GUYS!!! this will happen

i hear ya and been there...know exactly what you're talking about. don't blame them a bit. you never know who has some skeletons in there closets, not the case here i'm sure, but you never know.

We are in expedited due diligence mode with Rios as we speak. He just sent his tape last week and we've only just visited him yesterday for the first time, with a follow-up eval by his position coach(es) to come shortly -- all of which we've noted.

Given that he's an EE prospect with a very limited timeline left, and all parties (incl Admissions who are just getting transcripts and awaiting a test score) need to be in sync and on board here, things are where they should be given the unusual circumstances. Rios, his dad and HS coach all know the plan and situation clearly, and all are fine with it as of today. Presuming this moves forward on that quickly, he's looking at a 12/16 weekend official visit, with a decision shortly thereafter.

He likely won't be alone then either, as we've suggested.

more updates: coaches are coming back to see him next week and isn't sure what day....we talked about the new rankings out...he was very humble " A lot has to do with who is on there board . I am just glad Im getting a look 244 rivals thats good"

i of course "Good...come on man that's damn good...do you know what day they r coming...a few others they were recruiting b4 had them do position drills then 40 and just seeing actual height since they have an ideal fit for each position"

we talked a lil more bout the different rankings again and he said...i only want to be the #1 guy out of 1 next week..that's the only number that counts...kids got his priorties straight...and it will be his parents..not sure if both will come..most likely dad..
Working out for ND I was going to give my legs some rest time but need to get with my DB trainer an dad an get busy knock the rust off , On one thing about a season you get slopy in your form an your feet get slower , cus I dont get my reps in to busy . In college with trainers and Ice tubs I can work non stop .
