Brice Butler is one of my favorites. Unlike the concensus, I think we get him and Baldwin is out, unless Baldwin commits sooner.

That is just crazy talk but if I'm wrong I'll eat CROW. I'd hate to start reading ND cant get the big time player if and when he doesn't verbal to ND like I have read some posters already. Butler would be a huge get and would make the four lettered player starting with B feel like shit in the that sess pool of Program that begins with I.

I would have thought that Butler was FSU's to lose. But, I'm reading more and more about how USC is coming on strong at the end. No body is talking about ND in this race, so I think that it would be a major shock if he chose us.

i think id rather see him go FSU than USC, FSU is putting together quite a class this year with Jimbo Fisher as the O-coordinater.

Why does everyone believe he is not going to go to Notre Dame???? DD had an article up with him saying very good things about ND. He said he wanted to go to a place with good academics and have a chance to play right away.... so im thinking SC is out for both playing time and academics, and FSU is out for academics... but i really think this guy could be the next big surprise just like omar hunter was(scout didnt even have us on his schools of interest when he committed, just like Brice). just my opinion with alot of hope in there to land this guy.

If it comes down to USC, Florida, Georgia, and ND, i think he might end up going to either ND or Florida. If what you say is true, with him wanting to play right away, Florida doesnt have a WR in their class of 2010 or 2011, however i think their academics isnt quite up to ND's. I think its a toss-up.

I think that this kid is just trying to say the right thing (as many before him). I think that we have zero chance in this race. We ought to move on.

I didnt even think they are in the race... i thought it was just SC, FSU, and ND... i might be wrong but i thought i heard that somewhere. Glad to know that about Flordia though. I used to like Urban Meyer until he left Bowling Green.

As much as I want this kid at ND and the fact that he would start right away, I just don't think it's going to happen. This would be a huge shocker if he would commit to ND IMO, but you never know. Personally with the way ND is bringing in top QBs every year and now the other talent is following, if he doesn't pick ND he'll probably end up feeling sorry in a few years just like Benn.

It's really down to FSU, and USC now for Butler and for the last little while I thought he would end up at FSU, but now I'm hearing that USC is making a very strong late push and might even be his leader.

Well I figured since everyone is so against this kid, I read his articles and I don't see us out of it, I mean I think it was just hype built up by other boards, I think we might be surprised
