Ok. I'll just have some on front and the rest on the back. Maybe. I'll think of something better and shorter for the smaller men and women that are ND fans.

I may have had too much coffee already but I'm real encouraged to hear what he had to say about the Irish. I think Slaughter being in contact with Butler had an impact. Many thought this kid to be a USC lock but you can't help but feel good about where we stand with him now. A Floyd--Butler--Rudolph trio doesn't sound too bad to me. He has also taken notice of JC and Dayne

This guy is going to make a very calculated decision, wherever he goes. He's very brash about all subject matters involved. He doesn't say, "The players, the atmosphere, the coaching, etc." He says, "Jimmy Clausen and Dayne Crist, playing for a nationally broadcasted program, Charlie Weis's football expertise". Its a whole different ballgame with this kid - he makes no bones about it, and is very specific in what he's looking for. He wants to start as a freshman, he wants to start for 3 years, and then go pro.

I'll be honest. If he picks USC or FSU? I won't be overly distraught. But thats just me.

I agree losing him wouldn't make me uneasy, but losing a guy like Floyd would probably be the end of the world.

I don't know if what you're saying is a negative in your view, but hey, if he wants it and we can provide it, I'm all for it. I have no problem being upfront about what they want -- and any guy looking to attend ND, FSU, and ND has to be thinking about the NFL. If he comes here, stays out of trouble, passes his classes and leaves after three years, great.

I think he knows what he wants, and that's to get to the next level, and instead of saying all the right things (aka "being coached") I think he's saying what's on his mind. I like that about him.

He plans on making a decision in early August after a passing camp his team will be at in Hoover, Alabama.

If he is looking for pub what better place than to come to a place where legends are made. Like it or not ND is AMERICA'S TEAM. We recruit nationwide, have our own network(Did we get a new deal?) and the haters cantalk all they want but college football is BETTER win ND is in the thick of an NC race. I mean, if you want exposure ND is the place to be. With that being said I believe he has to look at these factors and take a hard look at what being at Notre Dame can do for his aspirations...

The pieces are here for him to do well in a ND uniform. Our future looks more than promising. The guys that join our squad now will become legends once we win our NC in 09.

Get ready for Brice to verbal to USC in the not so distant future. I got word that it's a done deal basically and he'll announce it around August 1st.

Good job with that and the McGuffie info, even though neither went our way. :(

Everything I've heard lately has him as a FSU lean.

---This is what I was told by a very reliable source so TIFWIW. The things people seem to think of him being an FSU lean are that EJ has committed there and that he has a picture or used to have a picture on his facebook (So I'm told) of a picture of players that say "The Future or FSU" or something like that. That isn't enough for me to think he is a lean. Everything I've seen and heard from him makes me think USC all the way and then I was told this so we'll see when he decides. I could care less either way because he aint coming here.

Scout says he will commit on the 1st. Between the Condums, the Criminoles and The Irish. We need this playmaker. But I don't feel comfortable about this one.

That was stated on the previous page.

Hey Gosh, I heard that Scout reports that he will commit on the first. It's between the Condums, the Criminoles, and The Irish. We need this guy, but I don't get a good vibe. Any idea when he will commit?
