They are also saying that the reason BGI is saying Omar won't be Irish is because he hasn't come out puplically to put down the rumors he's going to visit Fla. If he is rooming with Braxton this week it could help the Irish alot. I just hope whatever Omar decides to do he does it soon. I don't want this dragging on until signing day. I don't think the Irish sites will be able to stand waiting that long.

Exactly, if you're going to back out at least have the class not to do it last second... Tratt and Benn last year killed us... I really get the feeling (at least in Benn's case for sure) the opposing coaching staffs talked them into waiting til the last second to hurt ND...

Honestly, know one knows right now what Omar is going to do, besides maybe his coaches and family. Omar has not come out and said anything publically so everything should be taken with a grain of salt. It's evident that he's getting cold feet, but everyone is speculating right now, that's all it is.

What? If he got hurt in the UA game he would not have a guarenteed scholarship to ND. I know if I was playing in such a violent game on astroturf (is it?), I would like to know that if I never played football again that I would be given a free education to ND.

So I heard on his interview today on ESPNU, he was asked who he was hanging out with and he said the guys from the school Im going to. Will Hill was named in the group of guys.

I am glad he decommited rather than continue to play games. But I find the comments about the distance ironic, considering he lists USC as one of the schools he is interested in.

I'm not sure what to make about his comments on ND not being his "style" or him not being sure about the coaches.

For Hunter, it was an early decision, one that may have been made in haste and actually a surprise to him and others close to Hunter at the time.

"I committed to Notre Dame four or five months ago," Hunter said. "I went there on my visit and my intentions were to commit to Michigan. I fell in love with Notre Dame when I was there and I liked the coaching staff and facilities and that won me over."

It was a little more than distance that weighed into his decision, but he is certain he will not be playing for Notre Dame next season.

"Just watching Notre Dame, their style and how they played," Hunter said as reasons for making the switch. "It doesn't really fit with the way I play. I am not really sure about the coaching staff there, I know they are good guys and I love them, but I am not comfortable with the decision I made. I am officially decommitting from Notre Dame."

For now there are three schools in the race, two which are geographically close to Buford.

"I am definitely looking at USC, Florida, and Auburn, those schools that have kept in touch with me" Hunter said. "Those are the schools I am looking at. This dead time I have been looking around and see what I like."

Um that last time I checked......USC is in CALIFORNIA!!!!! If hes worried about distance and wants his mommy within hands reach, then why is he looking at USC? Hes saying that to piss ND off. Hes another Trattou and Little. Plays the game or f recruiting and wants the "glorious life" of the Florida's and USC's. Well I guess he will fit right in with the other Florida players and coaches. A liar.


Also, I cant wait to see Cave man handle Omar in the AAA game.
